In more traditional Serbian weddings the gift giving process and both bride and groom having to take drinks from the same bottle are very traditionally Hebrew - but this is more Ashkenazi Hebrew which means that both the Hebrew wedding traditions and the Serbian traditions influenced each other. It's very cool.

I find that very interesting. I'm a Serbian girl very into Judaism and jewish traditions, so I've noticed the candle-part too is very similar. :)
