  • awesome

  • Dude ... that is amazing!

  • Im Not a big fan of bat man but its a cool choice to pick to make a good piece of art because batman has action exslposions and what you did is you really captured those things mistakes or not its a really good piece should be proud i know i would be but we wanna see more videos keep em comming did good dude!:D

  • @xTankInc Thanks for the supportive comments, I agree I am quite proud. Also agreed upon uploading more vids! Currently working on a few vids for my other account, after that strictly music piano and composing.

  • insane

  • Incredible! You're living proof that ALL movie-related posters and other artwork should either be all or partially handdrawn/painted - NOT just photography. Like Zulya says, keep it up. - JD...

  • @jorson2 Thanks friend!

  • That is beautiful...never stop drawing!!

  • @MrTheZulya Thank you very much, Mr =D

  • Yea, I am a dick, But if it weren't for dicks like me, the 2 cocksuckers that hit the dislike button would be out of business

  • @chdk082289 or probably dead =P

  • Lemme come up with a hypothesis on how and the fuck this came up with 2 dislikes....1- it was an accident, it happens..2- Travis and David like to fuck with you...3- Youtube hates you and wants to piss you off...4- 2 dinosaurs liked the Micheal Keaton Batman better and since they have no taste or class, they hit the dislike button. and or my personal favorite #5, 2 homos were mad that Heath Ledger didn't come out of the closet after broke-ass mountain and seen this video and got Jealous

  • @chdk082289 LOL, NOICE.

  • Where can I buy a paper that size or bigger?

  • @perfectsteel03 Usually it's best to go to a good art store such as Dick Blicks, which is where I bought mine. Michaels is pretty good too. JerrysArtorama may have it too.

  • what type of charcoal did you used? compressed, willow etc.?

  • @ad3raider I used mainly the compressed hard charcoal for the darker parts, and the the lighter willow parts for the lighter parts such as the face. I don't remember the exact brand, but what I do is shade in the dark charcoal on paper, then use a tortllion and kleenix to get the shades what I want. Hope this helps,

    CheonHoPark

  • Damm.(:

  • You are amazing!

  • @JohnBoxing1 Thanks!

  • wow thats ridiculous...i wana do 1 of to things to the person who disliked this (4 you) 1. slap the shit out of them and then 2. ask WHY IN THE HELL WOULD U DISLIIKE THIS?!?!?!?!?!

  • @09tdubbs hahahaha, yeah I agree =D

  • @CheonHoPark lol thanks

  • 81 h or just 8h

  • @Svetovidijak 81 hours. It may seem long, but time flies when you are having fun, especially when drawing this.

  • Wow Amazing Wonderful job!

  • @KyleGallnerFan Thanks!

  • your realy good

  • nice poster I have one too :)

  • #OMG wwwwowww super download іt роор.su

  • HOLY CRAP, that's amazing

  • wow nice

  • did you use charcoal pencils?

  • @shayneb923 Yes, this is charcoal pencils.

  • @CheonHoPark so for the huge black sections, you just colored in with the pencils? how do you not see the pencil lines?

  • @shayneb923 No I colored everything with charcoal, especially with the black sections. If it were pencil it would probably take me a long time to draw =p

    CheonHoPark

  • @CheonHoPark ok thank you for responding i just have one more question:S

what did you use for the blending? i am asking all these questions because i want to start a huge drawing like this

  • @shayneb923 Most art stores sell paper rolls called tortillions. I also use tissues. The first thing I would do was to spread a whole bunch of charcoal on taper, and use the sharp tortillions to carefully draw in the values.

  • @CheonHoPark ok thank you so much!

  • That's excellent, amazing job!!! 5 stars!!! PERFECT!!!

  • @thelittlegiantman Hi, thanks for the nice rate and comment =]

    CheonHoPark

  • damn u can fkn draw good u make my drawing look like shit

  • @zhorties4live Haha, had a few mistakes before the final product was done. Once you get the proportions right it get's fairly easy and that is when the magic truly happens.

    Thanks for the comment.

    CheonHoPark

  • @CheonHoPark what kind of paper did u used ..do u have any tips for me i have charcoal pencils but im not really good at shading ...

  • @zhorties4live I believe I bought this large paper at Dick Blicks. It was a large sheet that was precut. I apologize, but I do not remember what type it is or brand name. Typically most art stores have large sheets in their stores. Charcoal is a fun but very messy medium to work with. It is also not as forgiving if you make mistakes, always start lightly. Sometimes it helps to draw a streak of charcoal on a plain sheet and use paper stubs/tortillas to apply the shading.

  • @CheonHoPark thanks for the tips

  • oh my. . . ur damn gud man. . . i do also charcoal drawing. but dat's very very very. . awesome . . woooh. . . .

  • @airachzil Thank you very much!

  • Wow pure talent awesome job I'm an artist my self but thts pure talent. The face is a bit different but hey nothing's perfect. Awesome job man this drawing rocks!

  • @blackraven0513 HI thanks for the nice comment, I really appreciate it!

    CheonHoPark

  • Nice work!

Charcoal is not an easy medium to work with.

  • @HotKebab Hi thanks, yes it's not easy but it can be very fun to work with too =]

  • you are wrong the face and structure is so incredable i would buy it

  • @NDIGLO007 Haha thanks, glad you can look past the flaws, and I did try my best to keep it in proportion.

    Thank again!,

    CheonHoPark

  • I have seen this poster for sale in color did u get ur idea from it or is the poster I'm talking about urs also?

  • @incredone Hi, no I did not conceive this scene from my own mind. And that this scene was actually from the Dark Knight poster.

  • the begging of the video looks like one of those dharma videos on lost. but i loveeeed your drawing!

  • @mayicastro hahahaha, thanks! xD

  • Holy CHRIST, this is fucking briliant!

You make me look like a beginner.

  • @TwoRavingPsychopaths Haha, it looks difficult, but when you have fun with something, you just go at it.

    Thanks for the comment!

    CheonHoPark

  • Im a big fan of both Tim Burton & Christopher Nolans Batman films. This is so awesome, It has Heath Ledgers overall structure. A very Well thought of art. It would be great to maybe see the Jack Nicholson as the Joker art piece!!!

  • Hi, thank you for the comment =]

Yes I love Heath Ledger version of the Joker as well. I never found myself truly attracted to the Tim Burton Batman Films, but perhaps it would be a challenge to try to do the Jack Nicholson of the Joker as well.

I will think about it =] Thanks for the comment!

    CheonHoPark

  • Really good drawling =)...honistly you kinda annoying...I say this with love....

  • Damn straight that's what I do best.

Hmm... I probably should have "practiced" with this so speech, because vocally I might have sound a little forced.

But was too excited to do anymore waiting, so I just went at whim. All at improvisation.

    Thanks!

    CheonHoPark

  • WOW. IM SPEECHLESS.

  • Hi thanks!

    I appreciate it!

  • It looks amazing! Good job :)

  • Hi! Thanks!

  • that is sick Man!

  • Thanks =]

  • I would buy that for 500 dollars, though I don't know if that's how much it is worth nor do I know how I will get that type of money, but damn. I don't know know what to say. FREAKING AWESOME MAN.

  • Haha, thanks, but sorry it's not for sale... but just got my YT account back! Which no one could put a price on that!

    Thanks for the comment!

  • god... like i wanna buy that FOR REAL

  • :O Holy crap, that's amazing!!!! :D

I'm gonna show this to all my friends now xD

  • Hi! Thanks =D

  • it is a madness,i can see how passion u love this joker,spend over 81 hours!?!man,that's a huge work you've done!*Clap Clap*Bravo

u draw on floor?is very details!!!i can see those tiny little exploding things like dust or glasses surrounding him!

  • haha, yep, thanks dude!

  • i love it i wish i could do the samething but id have to say that this is a great picture to Heath Ledger's memory and this inspires me to 'try' and draw my own in charcoal, thanks again for the upload

  • Hi, Charcoal is fun to work with, it require extra carefulness, but if done well, it's much faster than drawing using normal pencil... It probably would have taken triple amount the time if I used regular graphite, and probably would not have looked as well. Don't be scared to work with it, you can make neat stuff with charcoal.

    Thanks again!

  • this takes a lot of skill

  • Hi thank you for the comment =]

  • cringeee

  • that really is my fave thing every

    its amazing

  • Thanks, it's my best work ^_~

  • Yes, that is freakin awesome!!!

As a big fan of The Dark Knight myself, I love your tribute to Heath Ledger's character!

  • hehe thank you =D

  • Wauw, wauw and wauw.. That, good sir, is amazing!

Altough much darker, the drawing reminds me of the drawings of Shaun Tan, who has some amazing graphic novels.

As of now, I'm a fan of your music ánd drawings :)

  • I have never heard of Shaun Tan, but if the drawing is similar to this one, it definitely will be a treat to look at.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • I am impressed by your skill to always turn a piece of paper into something masterful. I am not much of a batman fan but that picture makes me kick myself when i passed up the opportunity to see the last one XD. That is the most awesome illustration i have seen in a long time, good job and keep it up

  • Hey Clayton, how you been?

Haha yeah, you should see it dude, I never was a Batman fan before, I really did not like Tim Burton's visions, but Christopher Nolan really helped give Batman its name. And of course Heath Leger's The Joker.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • whats your price?

  • Haha sorry Sir, this one's not up for auction =p

  • I almost can't believe that it's drawn! It looks like nothing I've ever seen! I don't know words to describe it with. It's amazingly impeccable.

  • Hi thank you for the comment ^^

It seems like you must be an artist as well, kudos to you,

    cheonhopark

  • I don't even come close to an amateur compared to you.

  • Well done! In all honesty, thats the best drawing I've ever seen of the Joker, probably one of the best drawings I've seen EVER. You've got a talent, keeps this up, you've got something most people would kill for.

  • Thank you ^^

    I appreciate the comment =]

    CheonHoPark

  • fuck tht was amazing. i want to go to drawing schools but dont know where to start any ideas??

    thx

  • A lot of universities offer drawing classes. It really depends on what you want and what your skills are. Are you more of a realist and prefer observation? Than I recommend you go to regular university. Or are you more creative, and can create your own concept characters and designs, then I suggest you go to a technology school, you could be a designer for a video game, or modeling company. You will make a lot more money going into some sort of technological field rather then art alone.

  • But the problem with going into a technology field such as game design takes a heavy toll on your free time. You hardly have any of it, which I learned the hard way. You need inspiration otherwise, drawing gets pretty damn boring.

    I hoped this helps.

    CheonhoPark

  • thx for the help. i rely appreciated!

  • amaizing !!!!

  • OMFG!!!!!this is a fantastic work, you really deserve more views =/

And 81 hours of work how can you be so patient? I'm a drawer too, and i didnt make a drawing in more than 2 hours XD.

Anyway wow this is stunning O_O.

Hope i'll reach your skill one day =D.

    Keep up the fantastic work

  • Hi 81 hours wasn't too bad, as long as you are having fun doing it, it went by quick.

Thank you for the comment =]

  • you're very very welcome x3

  • Dude, Choked! He Croaked!

He became a WanderingPimp to the WanderingLimp.

  • Amazingg, how much would you sell this for?

aha just wondering if you ever do.

  • Thanks, haha honestly, this piece, is not going on the market, it took me too long. I guess I probably won't make it as artist, cause I find it hard to sell my work. But if it took me a month, and still receiving and being paid the lowest wage possible, it still be expensive. 81 hours time 6 = is about 405 dollars. =]

  • ohhhhh jesus you have GOT to give me pointers!!!! im planning to start a piece of my own of the joker, but not necessarily that big hahaha :) and i havent decided on a reference picture yet but jesus christ you have GOT to tell me how you did it so perfectly! there's not one mistake!

  • Haha thanks, well it really depends, what medium do you want to use? Another tip is that if you have photoshop you can roughly cut your reference picture in halves. Then you can concentrate one box at a time. It also decreases the overwhelming value of the project. It also helps you do the outline more correctly. When you finish your piece let me know, I'd love to see it.

    CheonHoPark

  • well that's another decision I have yet to come to...I'm most advanced in painting with acrylics but i think something as detailed as the Joker might have to be done in pencils for me. using boxes does sound like a pretty good idea, i'll try it! as soon as i can i'll show you the final product, but i can guarantee you it's not gonna come close to your work--im 15 and have always been an artist but only recently have i begun to paint/draw human subjects. :)

  • GReat. Really amazing. But dont get a attitude, cause nobody likes that.

  • I saw this picture first on your DeviantArt gallery, and I thought it's a photo, poster, or ...whatever it is.

    O__O

    AMAZING JOB~~

    *5 stars ~~*

Oh, and I've watched your dA XD ~

  • Thank you very much =]

  • that is absolutely stunning but the whole dress up thing was a bit unnecessary.

  • wow so sorry for the comment earlier my brother hacked my acount. amazing drawing

  • jealousy is a sin.

  • this is amazing and there's nothing wrong with the face or any thing good job

  • how do you know how to color it in selection by selection?

  • The value work honestly isn't as difficult as the getting the proportions right.

But I used photoshop to roughly divide the photo I used into sections, it allowed me to concentrate on certain parts without getting overwhelmed of the size.

  • very nicely done

  • psh, dude it totally sucks....

lol nah im kidding that picture is amazingly awesome haha i am so jealous, great job :) keep it up :)

5 stars all the way :P
