  • check a mexican band which plays this song it's a really good video its name is ultimo enemigo megaman 5 and 9

  • Best song ever.

  • If you ever have a question about something, put it in the youtube search box.

Youll get more than just an answer.

  • or this magical website named Google

  • Full of mystical wonder and Wizardy

  • indeed!

  • Famitracker is a music program designed to make NES music. It utilizes the instruments that the NES uses in order to make authentic 8-bit songs.

Don't thumbs him down guys, that's just rude.

  • I just noticed something strange about this theme: In the OST version, theaccompanying square wave is at 12,5% duty cycle, i have the game on the wii and ingame, the accompanying square wave is at 25% cycles. After watching videos, i found that the PS3 version sounds like the Wii and that the 360 is the only one to have the accompanying at 12,5%

  • I know a few songs in the actual game have varying duty cycles than the OST. Wily stage 2 is one that's really noticeable.

  • @SivakD I don't know what a duty cycle is at all, but it really bugs me how I can't find a video of the Wii in-game version of the Wily Stage 2 music. I don't like the other one nearly as much.

  • Where can I download this song for free?

  • With Free YouTube to MP3 Converter.

That should solve any of your MP3 needs.

  • Now this RLY sounds 8-bit

  • This is my favorite track from Mega Man IX. :D

One thing, though: it sounds like the Triangle drums are off by an octave or something — maybe they're too short; I was listening to the original song and they seem a few milliseconds longer, and the pitch-slide I think is slightly quicker as well.

Other than that, though, great job! :D It sounds really good!

  • Hrm, also: is it just me, or are you using PAL for this? the pitch sounds off by a few cents, almost like it was done on PAL. o.O

  • PAL Megaman 9's music isn't off-key oddly enough.

  • dont say IX. it makes it sound like its gameboy game

  • @mega1megaman1freak

well IX is a (now official ) Character from the roickman x timeline XD

  • can someone make some 8-bit music for my fan game. just make 1 track and if i like it you can make the others

  • wait i heard a little mess up on the second set of 16ths(?)

  • "Tracker" is the general name for computer programs that allow you to sequence music.

Famitracker emulates the sound of the Nintendo Entertainment System, or Famicom.

  • when you assume...

  • BaalofSouls was incredibly rude, and most people wouldn't have responded in the way you did. (applauds)

  • well that's the internet the place where complete assholes meet

  • Rude? ha.

  • wanna upload the NSF file? I'd be grateful if you did.

  • pretty good, although now the official soundtrack is out :/
