High item prices don't pay the bills, the pharmacy pays the bills. Besides, I was just giving people a heads up to do their general shopping elsewhere.

Way to back the company you work for. You are supposed to encourage people to shop there not "shop elsewhere". The pharmacy does bring in a lot of revenue however, the general merchandise also affects the bottom line significantly. If Rite Aid sucks so bad you should do yourself and Rite Aid the favor of quitting and work somewhere else.

My advice to shop elsewhere is critical of Rite Aid, and it can be used in a positive manner; maybe if they took my advice and focused on wasting less money on excess signs, long receipts, and in other areas, and lowered their prices, their front end sales would improve. You can disagree with me, but you have no right to say what I do and don't deserve.

People also said that Rite Aid would go under 10 years ago and they built themselves up. Rite Aid is one of the best companies suited for a bad economy. They know how to deal with tough situations.
