  • one the best tunes I've ever heard (literally)

  • It sounds so traditional but Dylanesque, did he write the lyrics?

  • I THINK Peter, Paul and Mary did a great variation on this song called 500 miles...........

  • "I want to die, run and explode, i want to whisper delicately and chant humbly down an old road, eagerly complete as my reservation competes, wading on my space for now, as all these limitations surround me still. " A quote on the emotive response we get when listening to Dylan.

  • @solidheir Where did you get this quote from?

  • @lucasiskewl Its actually a quote from Jimi Hendrix , Hendrix was an obsessive Dylan fan. He used to carry around a plain note book in which he was constantly writing Dylan lyrics as he remebered them or heard them. I always found that personally it is such a better way of honing in on your craft by writing the words yourself.

  • If I got one good thing outa a bad relationship I had years ago I was showed how great Bob Dylan is. So thanx Nik K! Glad u r sober now keep it up! I still do care for your well being.

  • this song is good for someone. its good for me, too.

  • Who will come to the aid and comfort of the widow's son? The widower's son?

  • this is what is

  • I think think this is based on the old folk 500 MILES, recorded in 1962 or 63 by Peter, Paul and Mary

  • @ablack1000 More likely the Woody Guthrie song 900 miles.
