Brandon, I understand your point, but the purpose of giving this phones to them is to empower them:

1) without phones it is near impossible for them to find work

2) to be able to get help - call 911, when they are in danger

3) By giving them tools so they can document their stories & struggle & then others will know what is happening in this area.

so are they given phones to people who have no way of paying for th4 calls i love it free phones for the poor but no cash
