we are getting the largest incinerator in europe thanxs to ineos chlor and our council, is there any more videos on here or info that shows more about running one and what impact its going to have on residents living close by.. check out our facebook HAGATI
environmentally RECYCLE YOUR SHIT!!!!!! next these fucken big companys stop making so much god damn packaging we don't need a fucken plastic box around a salt shaker after ALL recycle is pulled out then incinerate it BUT RECYCLEING IS THE WAY TO GO its the people falt for throwing recycle in the trash fucken morons quit filling up the damn landfill none recyclers
Isn`t this facility producing electricity and industrial steam from the incineration process? So why put the stuff in a landfill? After all what`s the cost of $7 per ton compared to electricity prices?
@Nonamed22 We rob the Earth of precious resources (incurring polution), we make products out of those resources (spewing more pollution in the process) and we throw them away sometimes after ONE use! Then some moron thinks it's an intelligent idea to burn the stuff and calls it renewable. When it's all run out how renewable is it then, eh?!! This process is morally corrupt. It does not fit into a civilised society. And don't get me started on the health impact LOL
Incinerator operators ALWAYS hide behind 'jobs'. Ask them how many jobs. They'll meekly tell you it's about 25. Creating a recycling centre would create 200-300 jobs!!! And the impact on health is frightening. Dioxin is a known cause for infant mortality and birth defects, cancer, heart disease, etc, etc, etc, etc.

what the hell does "environmental" mean? CO2? CH4? dioxins as someone has mentioned? i fricken that it when people use the word "environmental" when they have no idea what the actual scientific significance is.
@teletubbykiller23 the fuel is trash. they burn the trash wich boils water in the boilers ( which surround the furnace) and the steam from the boiling water powers turbines whiches creates electricity
@lahluv dont they soak it with a fuel to start the inferno? or is it layered like the easiest to ignite [eg. particle board, paper, cardboard,] is the igniter for the furnace
Apparently a company came in and made it cheaper to burn the trash at the Tulsa Incenerator, and they continue to burn trash instead of bury it. According to the news story, they are actually SAVING $750,000 a year by burning instead of burying. Good news all around.
stop burning and have landfill ? then end of with arat population thst well b infested with diseise > england was plagued with nebonic ... the rat was the carriier , killed ........ countless people
waste to energy plants are better than landfill and one of the cleanist energy sources we have. so in other words you would rather use coal that fucks up the earth
it is not the cleanist energy sources it can cause illness would u like to have that having ur children or any children ill because of one of them plus would u like one of them right next door to ya coz thats what they wanted to do to my family it wasnt gonna be out of the way it was gonna be in a village!
@lahluv u no what i will contact the company and get them to build it outside ur house seein ur happy about it bein built outside mine! see how u like it! where do u like i will get hold of them now!
IMO one should expect americans to shut down the incinerator, build a new landfill, build a nuclear power plant to make the power missing from an incinerator, and then blame all other countries for not doing enough about the emissions...
At least thats how the media (YouTube included) present The States as general to me...
We should be burning all of our garbage.

Incinerating garbage produces dioxines - the supertoxines. How smart, sigh.

how complete is the combustion? will even a bulk plastic item burn completely? is there melted but unburnt plastic residue in the ash?
neutralino1 2 years ago
Most incinerators use a moving bed system, so the burn is constantly turned and rotated. Typically you get 99% combustion.

We can produce energy with this method.
So we don't have to burn coal/gas/oil for more energy, that's why it is an eviromently-friendly technology.
I hope Hungarian government will build same incinerators .

environmentally i would continue incinerating the garbage

No one tells you about the amount of dioxine and the submicron particles that the incinerator produces.
Specifically if it burns too cold it produces dioxine, if it burns too high it produces microparticles (0.1 Micron).
Do your own research about the cancer rates of the area surrounding each incinerator.

So is anyone sure of the result?
