  • Albums almost as good or better from bands with more famous albums- For sale, The cry of love, Incesticide, Vs, Down on the upside & One hot minute ( & the chilis last 3 albums for that matter)

  • I agree with #3

  • Their Satanic Majesties Request is a very underrated album.

  • Underrated....Why, when...Don't think so

  • presence by led zeppelin

  • One Hot Minute.

  • Ram: McCartney

  • 1-Press to play-paul mccartney

    2-Lionheart-Kate Bush

    3-Wild,Innocent e-st. shuffle-Springsteen

    4-Radio K.A.O.S-Roger Waters

    5-Is a woman-Lambchop

  • Why is the Kinks and The Smiths ones under-rated?

  • Not only are they iconic albums they're all pretty much common place bands. They're great albums no doubt but none of this is underrated

  • La Folie by the Stranglers

  • The Kinks got unlucky...VGPS was released the same week as Electric Ladyland AND the White Album.

I'd like to have some some Tom Waits or Jeff Buckley.

  • R.E.M. monster

  • ew pablo honey deserves to be underrated, its radioheads worst album.

  • You're missing you're own point by choosing the 10 most over rated songs from these albums?

  • Same taste as me and I'm only 13!! :)

  • The Clash and the Who are overrated bands, the rest of these are good choices...

  • @diNOalbaneo

No. The clash and the who are underrated.

  • i always though queen flash gordan was underrated and pink floyd animals

  • Queen is the best

  • I disagree with Queen II by Queen, I think Queen's 1st album is even more underrated

  • i wouldnt class any of these albums as 'underrated' because they are all well known and by bands which are generally household names, thus having a reasonable amount of critical following. maybe check out some more obscure krautrock or free jazz albums for true underrated masterpieces.

  • Yes true ; The final cut is underrated.

  • yep, village green is much better than sgt. pepper! no doubt at all. btw, sgt. pepper is one of the "worst" albums of the beatles. i prefer revolver, abbey road, rubber soul, white album and even their first albums.

  • you dont know shit about music. you cunt!

  • Budgie

  • how about the basement tapes

  • What about Animals by Pink Floyd? That's pretty underrated.

  • Good list. innuendo by Queen is underrated too. And My Generation isn't that underrated, is it? But this is your opininon, so it's up to you which songs you want in here

  • 'The Kinks Are the Village Green Preservation Society' and 'My Generation' underrated? They're much-lauded, surely?

  • yes the Kinks are underrated, but Village Green is the most critically acclaimed. Personally I think the album is overrated at least 4 other Kinks albums are better - Arthur, Muswell Hillibillies, Face to Face and Something Else

  • You missed Steve McQueen by Prefab Sprout.

  • and strange days IS NOT ubderrated

  • another underrated alnum is who are you everyone knows the song who are you but nobody knows the other songs on that album and quite frankly they kick ass

  • kinks are the most underrated band of all times

  • Village Green is so underrated. It's better than Sgt. Pepper or the White Album (although the Beatles were a great band, don't get me wrong).

  • village green better than sgt. pepper and the white album? i love both bands but thats a bold statement.

  • These are all really well known, iconic albums. How are they underrated? Especially Strange Days, Village Green, Pablo Honey, Queen II, and Space Oddity...

  • creep is great in a strip club

  • The Kinks are underrated

  • pablo honey was a terrible album lol i cant see how it would even be considered good

  • BRITISH much? I guess I agree with you, well, sort of.

  • Some others I would add are Aliens by Horslips, Rory Gallagher-Live,Sailin Shoes-Little Feat, Mystery To Me-pre-Lindsey/Stevie Fleetwood Mac,American Stars and Bars-Neil Young and believe it or not "pick an album"-Jethro Tull. A lot more to that band than Aqualung and Living in the Past. Hall of Fame--"WAKE UP"

  • I guess it depends on who is doing the rating. Amazing how many people have never heard some of this great stuff though. When The Final Cut came out, Kurt Loder of Rolling Stone gave it 5 stars and called it an "epiphany" but most people didn't "get it". On the other hand, Wish You Were Here was trashed by the same mag but both albums are equally brilliant.

  • I definately agree with Space Oddity, my second favourite Bowie album is that.

  • Meddle should replace the final cut for Pink Floyd, in my opinion,

  • YES, why? Well, ECHOES.

  • What happened to ATOM HEART MOTHER???!!!

  • Definitely some good stuff there, some I have some guess i should check out. Thanks for the tip!

  • i know that was cheap...

  • THE UNDER RATERRRRR
