Like most viewers I am just overwhelmed by Nikki's ferocity and finessing of this song. Does anyone know if this rendition with the off-da-chain harmonies can be purchased somewhere? Does Nikki have her own album and if so, could you post info or send mail to my box? Thanks in advance.

I don't know Jawon, I think Nikki's range is higher than Kelly's. I do think, however, that nikkie will give Twinkie and Kelly a run for thier money. nikki is annointed, i can tell, she could lessen her runs only a little bit. singers now days use runs for filliing in spots they think are empty. there is nothing wrong with runs, as long as they aren in excess. She cant be compared to karen, karen at first when she her weight she has had a prob with breath control for a lil while, cuz she not big no more.
runs are what the singer feels are appropriate for the song. plus, her runs are great and they are not excessive because that is the way she wanted the song to sound. just because you did not like them does not mean they were out of place.

Kim Burrell's musical theory knowledge is way superior to that of Nikki's. Nikki is just getting her feet wet. Kim is a legend already. There is no comparison. And they both play the organ, and Kim blows her out of the water with that too.
I totally agree with you on this one. I enjoy Nikki, but Kim has been down through the ranks and can really minister. Nikki on the other hand seems more of an entertainer, like Karen. Well we all are entitled to our opinions...But I personally don't feel that how a person should really matter all that much. As long as God is getting the glory is what should matter. And if a person doesn't have any anointing in the song, you sure can't expect for someone else to get something out of it! But every time I hear Nikki sing, it sends chills down my spine. nikki is annointed, i can tell, she could lessen her runs only a little bit. singers now days use runs for filliing in spots they think are empty. there is nothing wrong with runs, as long as they aren in excess. She cant be compared to karen, karen at first when she her weight she has had a prob with breath control for a lil while, cuz she not big no more.

Kim Burrell's musical theory knowledge is way superior to that of Nikki's. Nikki is just getting her feet wet. Kim is a legend already. There is no comparison. And they both play the organ, and Kim blows her out of the water with that too.

I totally agree with you on this one. I enjoy Nikki, but Kim has been down through the ranks and can really minister. Nikki on the other hand seems more of an entertainer, like Karen. All of them cam sing and I respect them in their rightful place, but hands down Kim is the only one that can really minister and it's not a show.

Maybe all of you shouldnt be arguing over this topic, bcuzz technically it doesnt really matter what any of us thinks...God knows who and what the song is being sang for...and annointing speaks without any imlications thereof....capische? and btw runs(tonex/kim burrell) do not always equal annointing, and neither does a pure voice like cece winans/yolanda adams...however how it ministers and affects people is a strong determinant.

Unfortunately these days if you don't do all those runs, people won't think of you as an annointed singer...but I do Love Nikki!...I just wish someone could be out and just sing without all the runs!...Sometimes when a song is just sung straight through it can minister more than all the runs!...I do allot of runs in my singing, but my Bishop has to tell me to calm down a little so people can be ministered to and not runned down!..LOLl...But again not hating on Nikki...The girl is bad!
