@L1LL38R0R It has to be done from within the software with Mikro. Or you can assign specific parameters to the Group's Macro controls and then control those via an external controller using MIDI CCs.
@mstrklla haha. I found this desk about 8 years ago on the street outside an apartment I was moving into ; ) .. I love it because it is the absolute perfect height and width for everything and works well with an 88 key controller too. Desks can be really frustrating so I have stuck with this bad boy for good.
@KTKHarm I don't think the prices are ridiculous. The Maschine Online course will offer well over 18 hours worth of video and 36 hours of online time with our teachers in the form of chats, emails, and generally just being there to always answer your questions. Break it down by hours and cost and it is about $16/hour - well below the standard price of music lessons to learn an instrument these days.
@pittster57 keep with it man! I know it sucks when we have to budget for computer upgrades every few years when all we really want to do is buy more gear :
you know this piece of equipment is so freaken complicated, there is so many freaken tutorials on it, I mean I am seriously want to spend the extra cash to get a MPC, it seems more user friendly, I mean I have a real crappy computer and the maschine needs a real high performance computer to run it right, and that still does not help you figure it out
@pittster57 not really complicated. We do a lot of tutorials on it because there is so much depth to it and so many different ways to use it. The MPC is not as user friendly (saying this as a user) and you will spend half your time working outside the box only to try and get your sounds back in ; ) ... as far as the computer goes, it is the brain of your entire studio, best to make sure it works well before anything else is added to your setup as a general rule.
@pittster57 that was what I said about it 4 years ago, and now the computer is totally shot, I mean I need a more powerful machine, but just don't have the cash to drop on it, but I do have a maschine mikro that is collecting dust at the same time.
@pittster57 if you can operate a mp you can use a maschine EASY
and i dont think you need to much speed on your computer mine is not the fastest but i haven't seen any problem at all with maschine speed or cpu overload
i think the only reason there are a lot of tutorials because people how have it really like it and want to see more people buy maschine and for it to have a larger following like the mpc family/series
Hey! don't know if you're gonna read this but I was wondering what's that knob controller right below your screen, with one crossfader.... Pls reply. BTW great job on these tutorials!
I've only watched a few of DubSpot's vids but they've ALL helped me in making my first few tracks.
If you have Maschine, you'd be a fool not to sub to these guys. If you don't have a Maschine, just sub for ya boy Saint Joe!
Check my tunes if you don't hate self promotion.

Thanks i had been clogging up pads with FX's instead of multi effects, this is eye opening.

@N4King Excellent! You can also run several Multi FX chains on more than one group too.
