That's absolutely correct. He was never a suspect at all until the floppy disk he sent to a TV station in Wichita was found to have his name in it. He had no criminal record at all and was a respected community member. He didn't impress anyone who knew him as any kind of a killer, he appeared way too ordinary. And this was at a time when everyone was turning in their brother-in-law as a possible BTK suspect due to the manhunt going on.

Actually that's incorrect. A computer disk with document metadata led directly to Rader and the church where he used the computer to create the document. This disk was sent to police and all they had to do was look at the document properties. His own ego and ignorance of technology led to his capture. The DNA from his daughter was used to afterwards to prove beyond a doubt that Rader was the one that left seminal deposits at many of the crime scenes.
It's a real shame they gave him the satisfaction of sitting through any of the court proceedings & getting the chance to refresh those sick memories in his head again! He has no remorse or conscience! Bend over please Mr Rader :)

wow, this is definetely interesting from a research point of view. He seems to combine the victims with himself or his family. He's doing that so he can spark emotion in front of the court. The only way he can try and feel emotion is when its relating to himself. Watching the rest of these vids..its amazing how hetries to twist and turn the court into the Rader Show. Im very surprised he didnt attempt to be his own lawyer (paying homage to Ted Bundy)

Granted capital punishment is cheaper then housing him, rotting in prison till you die is pretty bad too. Solitary confinement for 23 hours a day is devastating to someone mentally.

Actually, Dennis Rader is of average intelligence. It was just luck he managed to get away with murder for over thirty years, but you're right. He cares little about his victims. In an interview after his arrest, he claimed feeling remorse because he would never eat a McDonald's hamburger again...

they should have let the families take turns kicking his ass, especially the guy who survived. and what gets me most of all is how he cried for himself when the families were giving their impact statements, but as he told the stories of how he killed those poor people he talked as if it were no big deal, just something he did one day and that was that. no feelings for others whatsoever, very selfish, i cant comprehend how anyone can be so evil.

Actually that's incorrect. A computer disk with document metadata led directly to Rader and the church where he used the computer to create the document. This disk was sent to police and all they had to do was look at the document properties. His own ego and ignorance of technology led to his capture. The DNA from his daughter was used to afterwards to prove beyond a doubt that Rader was the one that left seminal deposits at many of the crime scenes.

He couldn't have meant it. He was planning on killing again. I don't know....I don't think he was/is capable of feeling remorse for anyone but himself and his family. The brutal way in which he killed these people shows how cold and listless he is...so those were probably crocodile tears. I'll bet any money if dennis rader were set free from prison he would definitely kill again.
