@Ribi1014 You're more than welcome to tour your local Saddlebred or Morgan horse training facility. Better yet, find a local Saddlebred show to attend and you'll see for yourself. You'll find that the horses are extremely well cared for and truly love their jobs. No horse in pain shows with their ears pricked, eyes wide, and a "look at me" attitude. If you can't tell a happy horse from a horse in pain, please ask an actual horseman. We'll show you the difference =]

@Ribi1014 for yalls information...... the high stepping action is natural. They sometimes use boots to make it higher but trust me, if a 1000 pound animal didn't want to do something, you couldn't force it! I ride saddle seat with the high step, it's not abuse. Please learn before you go around saying we abuse our horses. Some people find it offensive.

This is a great idea however, needs tweeking. The music could be something a little softer (personal choice) most importantly, it's very hard to read. Again, it's a great idea!!!

you forgot quite a few classes. like show pleasure and stuff like that. country pleasure horses arent usually that fancy with there heads like that and feet. There usually let down.

3 gaited doesn't mean a roached or clipped mane. There are full main and tail classes. And roached mane classes which are usually sperate.

There are also on occasion 5 gaited country pleasure.

And I've never heard of boot classes. The horses that wear boots are 5 gaited horses so they hit there feet.

3 gaited you can have a shaved mane. trust me there's a mare at my barn, Kiss Me Goodnight, she's three gaited and shaved mane go ask Mike Roberts thats the person we got her from

3 gaited horses always have a shaved mane, which a 3 gaited pleasure horse has a full mane. Anything with pleasure in it usually has a full mane.

yeps ik that cuz my horse is a 3 gaited pleasue horse. In pleasure classes you cannot have their manes shaved or tails braced. I've always wanted to ride a 3 gaited horse

I am sure she uses a lowback pad on him. Which makes it harder to tell. For some horses it is hard to tell. And his doesn't show to much, but if you really look it is. And without a saddle on you can tell.

thats how it is for us. for most of the horses it doesnt bother them. but thats the only problem with that horse (or any lowback) they couldnt be shown by anyone other than a juv. because they would have to strip the horse for their class. :/ which sucks cus he is such a nice horse.

Show Pleasure horses have a mane.

Any horse with pleasure has a mane. Only 3 gaited horses (walk trot, not just a horse that performs 3 gaits, but a three gaited horse have roached mane)

Not to be a know-it-all but for the 3-gaited its a jog walk. For park the horses shouldnt have to be pushed foward. For equatation patterns are involved in the championship(mosyt of the time) and the 5-gaited page was a little blurry. I got all of them correct! Good job on the video otherwise!

Do you mean English Country Pleasure? If so, I included that.

But I am not aware of Country English. So far, it has never been to any of the shows I have ever gone to, and I have been to many.

hey, good vid, but you forgot English...there is country english... (witch is country) and then there is english... English is when there is more action from the legs on the horse...thos horses NEED to be hot to trot..they dont really do patterclasses cuz they r 2 high strung....justs letting ya know =]]]....if u need a pic of one go to google and type in pics of arabian english saddleseat..there are a lot of good ones there.
