Everyone always bashes this album, but I think it's their best work yet. I just wish they'd stuck with the less-produced sound they used to have rather than taking the grimy feel out of their music as they did on their last album.

i like how julian retains pretty much the same vocal sound as on on the albums, as a singer it's always great to find a singer who can do that, there are far too many studio tricks nowadays like pitch correct, auto-tune, etc.

yeah on your guitar turn down the tone all way and use the neck pick up. then whack loads of gain , i usually have my amp's gain on aswell as a distortion pedal. you'll get ar rough sound pretty similar to it.
