I agree with her comments on the current dross that's in the charts. I grew up around Reggae, Soul and Hip-Hop so there was never very much in the charts on Radio 1 back in the 70's and 80's.

Now we have stations just devoted to one form of music, which can't be a good thing.

I'm glad that Radio 1 eventually started to broaden it's horizon eventually after the mass culling in the early 90's. Some of those DJ's were making it dangerous to drive cos they were so MOR!
