  • what a crock doesn't show what material to use to make the pattern, how can one actually learn from this if most of the info is left out to use

  • @endonmagic As a designer you choose the material. Did you look at both parts. The only thing you need to learn is the pattern. It's a "T" bottom. Sew the sides , sew the T and the bag is finish. If you notice this video was made 2 years ago. At the time it was posted the limit on the size of the file was 5-8 minutes. The whole video for this bag is over 2 hours. Sorry it didn't live up to your standard.

  • When you make the T you make the bottom and gusset at the same time. Sew down the sides and across the T or open ends.. Turn the top- drop in your lining and top stitch.

  • not sure where that last piece goes. Didn't the main piece you cut out already have a bottom designed in it? Or is that last piece - which you call bottom pannel - something that creates a double layered bottom of the bag? Also how do you sew the two main parts together? Just sew it together where the front and back main pieces meet at the gusset and bottom sides? Hope i stated my question clearly. Thanks for taking the time to answer.
