mapoukas, are hip vibrations that are african. You have to keep your upper body and arms very rigid most of the time, to vibrate the hips. It's different than twerking which uses bent knees and upper body movement. Caribbean hip movements have more upper body movement too. I got interested in Mapoukas last year after watching some professional African dancers, now i'm trying to mix it into my reggaeton vids.
