This is fuckin' sweet, and Dream Theater are definately one of the best prog metal bands. You ever listen to Mastodon or Gojira? Both considerably heavier than DT, but I think you might ike them.

I see you're playing barefoot. Be sure your gear is plugged into a GFI outlet - or wear shoes. I lost a friend who didn't. His amp developed an internal short, and he got zapped. If your effects use wall-wart or line-lump power supplies instead of internal ones, they're pretty safe.

It's only safe if it's a GFI type - the kind in your bath and kitchen with the test and reset buttons. Home Depot sells plug-in GFIs for applications like yours. We've used them on outdoor stages (GFIs are the law out there anyway).
