@fiattrickbox i know a way to get Homebrew apps, firmware, media, and emulators without the need of hacking or custom fimware.btw, its free, just put in your psps web browser "hbstore.screeze.com" (make sure java is on) it will download two seprate things automatically, then when its done, head to game and choose hbstore, itll take a while to load but then you got it, i got a psp 3001 ver. 6.60 and it works just fine, questions?

Nice! But doesn't that (installing a CFW + emulators) prevent you from using the ps3 -> psp connectivity, or other psp functionalities like Skype, themes, etc. ? I have a ps3 and I'm thinking about getting a psp,mainly to play my PSOne classics bought off the PS Store without fear of breaking my precious 60 gig PS3...would I still be able to play them even after installing a CFW on the psp? Thanks.

I haven't had any issues using my hacked PSP with my PS3. If anything, it adds functionality not takes it away.

well the point of the handheld is mobility, with the PSP and DS you can keep all your games on one memory card....

if a bully took my PSP, i'd be like "hey!" and beat the crap out of him, and I'd take his PSP and throw it in the trash...

hey dommie i really like your videos and i reasently instal cfw on my psp slim following your directions... very easy. now i'm trying to put some emulators in it but i'm having a little trouble. could you help me out with this...Your roms and emulators look very good. specially the 2600...PLZ give me a hand with this...

Most of the emulators ask you to stick the main folder (with the EBOOT) in the GAME150 folder. Sometimes there are other folders (like roms, saves, etc.) that go in the main root. Each emulator is different though. Most of the time the readme that comes with it sorts it all out for you. Hope that helps.

dommie can you also provide the site were you downloaded your emulators and roms from. I was born in the mid 80's and never played the atari 2600 and BERZERK looks pretty cool so if you can let me know those sites...thanx

Very cool, there are a group of emulators that all share the exact same design on the Wii aswell. - Why buy from Virtual Console when you own the originial cartridge, nothing immoral emulating decade old games you already own. :D

I tried a few MAMEs for the PSP but didn't have much luck. All of them crashed and wouldn't load games. From what I read there aren't any stable MAMEs for the slim. If you know of any, let me know. I'm dying to play some Yie Ar Kung Fu!

I made that Tekken 3 EBOOT with a program called psx2psp. It allows you to customize the look of the PS1 EBOOT you rip from the PS1 disk for your PSP, including adding music. I had a copy of the sound file from Midnight Club and I liked it so I decided to use it for Tekken.
