  • where did you get this

  • took a little while to get airborne but other than that, looks good nice job

  • Looks a little rough but certainly flys pretty nicely.

  • Your build is one of the most impressive scale builds of a 747 I have seen up to date! It looks like a production model. What is the AUW and are you utilizing two batteries or just one for the two ESCs'?

  • One battery 4S 4000mAH. A bigger battery would be better for flight time. AUW is 2.8 kg, as it has retracts fitted and has one layer of fine fibreglass cloth and one coat of water based wall paint. If I didn't add the glass and paint it would have weighed in at around 2.3kg. 2 motors produce 2.8kg together at full throttle on the ground, it is more in the air.

  • beauti landing :-D

  • nice job

  • wow!! thats awesome i've never seen an rc qantas plane

  • very beautiful build! impressive!

2 questions what power system are you using (ESC, Motor, Batteries)?

and does it take off faster when you use a paved runway

  • Thanks.

    It has 2x GWS64mm Fans with SAPAC 4000kV Outrunners, 2x 60A ESC's and 4Cell 4000mAh Battery.

Haven't tried to take off pawed runway-no access to a flying field with one as yet. She takes a while to take off grass, but she gets up eventually.

  • Looks like it flies really stable. Excellent job, mate!

  • Sweet :D
