I bought one brand new in 93 and it was a beast. The thing redlined at 8500 and spun like a top. No other car in it's class was as fast for the money.
Man you guys got ripped off! The Australian version came with a 1.8, 1.8 Turbo with 4 wheel drive, was an absolute rocket in its day. That grille is bloody ugly too, the oz version ( Ford Laser TX3 4WD) looked much better. The interior was a bit different here too.
it was white and the exhaust was rotted off so it was so loud! lmao but i luved it cuz everyone would hear me coming lol not rlly that fast but alot of fun to beat on
plus these cars can take a beating, me n my friends have a bunch of videos we made of us taking it threw a rough corn field, a little 3 foot jump lmao n drifting in the winter, cuz my escort had a really tight E brake lol
that was fuckin hilarious man. I am gonna start driving around with a helmet when I drive my Geo Metro lmfao. thanks for the idea, and btw, nice car!!!

I drove one for five years. It was actually a really fun car to drive. Not an actual sports car, but had a peppy motor and handled well.
