Here's the deal: You need to get a better microphone and time your lyrics right with the music. They were good all except for the "and i'm still waiting for the kiss you promised". I'm a huge amy fan! The lyrics are good, but amy wanted to take a happier approach on the song. The singing is really good. The piano sounds fine, you can't really notice the incompleteness of it while you're singing. With some voice lessons, you could be really good.

I love what you did to this song. The original is lovely as well but this version is so much more relevent to me right now. You have a lot of skill to be able to write such amazing lyrics, sing it and sound amazing, all while playing piano. You have a very beautiful voice by the way. Firstly, you play piano very well, it's a complicated song to play.

Secondly, nice lyrics, those are usually my only strong point but none of mine hold a candle to this one.

Thirdly, I love you voice, you could check my videos where I sing Evanescence songs and I cannot put enough power or feeling into my vocals...

well, as i said in response to larosity's comment, it wasn't necessarily that i didn't feel good enough for him, but it was the fact that he assures me he loved me more than i loved him, yet he was the one to end the relationship cuz i didn't measure up to his "requirements" - after THREE YEARS of love. so, the words were bitter sarcasm..."guess i wasn't good enough for you".

and i agree - those moments are the only times i cam write really good stuff.

And even though this is one of my favourite Evanescence songs because it's not sad, I like your "twisted version"... it goes along better with Evanescence usual style of lyrics.

About your singing it's so enjoyable as usual, just be careful with the stronger parts; I think you put much too energy on those, that it seemed like it went out of control (I think it's because you really feel what you're singing).

yes, those high notes were really stressing me out...i had tried to get them down, like, literally six different times. it was terrible...once i finally got it, i kept it - no matter how strained or whatever it sounded. =)
