I love Howard but he fucked up the interview. He should have just asked Frank to indulge us with his greatness rather than "following" Howard singing Louie, Louie??
Frank always knew what was really going down in this world. He picked his battles and the we miss him dearly for his music, opinion, humor and style. Waiting for someone to carry on what he started. Love Dweezil and the family, but pioneers theyre not. Nor am I so I dont have a leg to stand on.
@Rockulaproductions He sure did! I did'nt think Family Guy was around back then! Yet Frank talks to Meg Griffin! See, he really was ALWAYS ahead of his time!
If there is any ("mainstream") Christian out there: are you crazy? Are you going to lobby a secular government to do your bidding for you in the USA where it's Constitution unequivically "guarantees" free speech?? Are you crazy? Please do respond to me directly if you will.
@cjk9013 I'm not a mainstream christian (or even a christian at all), and I would sacrifice almost everything to protect our freedom of speech, and I'm not even exactly sure what you're referring to because this recording was from 1984 or 85, but just to play "devil's advocate", are you saying that you would be okay with people yelling or telling about horrible, graphic, descriptions, of the most vile and taboo sexual situations to your young children? There have to be some restrictions.
@3cho613 Poor placement of my remarks. If I recall correctly, I was responding to someone else's comments (then I hear from you, go hear and see my response hanging here in space with no surrounding context...).
However, I will respond to your question with a question: who will be the person or persons appointed to decide what or whose speech to restrict or not to restrict? I am not a fan of vulgarity, but nor am I a fan of restricting freedom of speech.
@cjk9013 I guess some people erased what they said or something. idk.
I'm not into restricting free speech either. It is a tough problem that could be solved if we all could be polite and watch our language in front of the kiddies. Most people already do that I think. The problem is stuff on tv. Do we really need viagra commercials on Nickelodean? I respect free speech, but there should be some responisibility from advertizers. When I was little they didn't have penis cream commercials lol
@3cho613 If your children are ignorant to those things they may be effected, that's up to you the parent to prepare them for those people. Keeping them in ignorance doesn't help.
