If I made videos on a more frequent basis, I might consider getting better equipment. But as it stands, I am poor and lazy so I'm finding it difficult to convince myself that spending upwards of $300 on recording equipment that I would use maybe every two months is a good way to use my money. :\

Yeah, I use my laptop's webcam and microphone atm so I'd have to buy a camcorder and possibly a microphone and pricing them was painful. :(
You mean like finger picking? I do occasionally but I'm kind of terrible so I try to avoid it when I can.
