@Metalgear55 I think what probably happened was the Queen had an affair with Dartagnen the Musketeer while maried to the king. The king asumed the identical twins were his but Dartagen and Anne knew the truth. Remember Dartagnen saying that if he loved Anne he would be betrying his country and if he didn't he would be betraying himself - that suggested an affair to me.

He thought that phillip was dead, the king(real king) sent phillip to the country side to keep the country from war. on his death bed he revieled to anne and louis that phillip was alive. Louis was the one who had his brother put in the prision.
