It isnt. Scientists dont give the green light... scientists want us to go to mars. The ignorant public (maybe even someone you know) and the religious politicians dont want to spend the money, they dont think it matters. Many of them are christians, and are convinced that once you die you go to a better place. That means what we do on earth only matters because it helps us get to this better place. Priorities are not aligned with mars trips.

Without time, the concept of existence, eternity, what is and what will be, start, end, beginning... these things are all meaningless because they occur within, and describe the dimension of time. Doesnt appear that time will just go away, however. Like the surface of the earth - the universe is probably finite, but without end. In other words, you can walk the earth forever without finding an end... but that is possible even with an object of known size.

Yeah. It seems like the Terminator franchise has the most realistic depiction of nuclear blasts for some reason, like in T3 here. Scientists have said that the blast on LA from T2 is the most realistic film depiction of a nuclear explosion.
