It probably sounds more faded because the texture of it. With the eggshell it was hard and thin, so the sound and air traveled through it better, but with this one it's more soft and doesn't work as well, and also, this is big too, it's like the bigger egg, so the air doesn't travel through it very well, but still I never even thought of using food for instruments. Very clever. =D favorite!
