Thanks hun! Glad you liked it! :) I suppose you probably could but then there's a greater chance of the bottom tier getting squashed and losing its shape. ESPECIALLY if you are using a moist cake recipe. I HIGHLY recommend the straws to support the weight of the overlying tier. :)

Thank you so much! Yes, I am passionate about my work! :0) The airbrush I use is an IWATA Eclipse HP-BCS (bottom feed). I bought if off one of the IWATA dealer websites (which of course I can't remembr who it was now, LOL!) But if you just search for it online you'll find tons of people who sell it. I think I paid about $120 for it and it came with the hose that attaches to the compressor. I LOVE my airbrush! It's funny cuz someone marked your comment as spam. Wonder why someone would do that?

Have ever airbrushed a buttercream cake? I was actually trying to find info about it a few days ago, but can't figure out if it would be okay-or if the spray would collect and "bead" on the cake...hmmm....

Thank you! Yes, I have airbrushed a buttercream cake. It's quite allright. You just need to make sure the cake is completely dry and the buttercream has crusted before you airbrush. :0)
