Just 2 let u know my subs are made from 18mm MDF. Have 192 strand Oxygen free cable, with an inductor and capacitor to filter out the highs. Are filled with speaker wadding and do 500 watts max from a lightweight 8 inch kevlar cone. They cost me the same price to make and design. The box is tuned to 30hz unlike the skytecs, and from my experience of skytec they're made in china and have extremely cheap components like Auna and thats why you should rescue the woofers and build a new box for them.

Just completely finished my Auna speakers upgrade, it's cost me about £60 but is well worth it, my Auna's now do 98db SPL!!! And produce nice clear and pure loud sound. I know u don't sound very interested but really it's very easy 2 do, it's just a direct replacement, and makes the Auna's sound even better than the RCF Art 12 inch PA speakers my school have which cost nearly triple the price.

Definitely great magnet size! They do sound lovely when crossed over, as the bass turns more smooth, also considering the price at just £14.90 they r great value!!!!!

The magnet is not extremely important for it's size, but it's for the strength it has to push that coil out of the magnetic field smoothly and freely.

Those subs are some of the worst I've ever heard.

If u hav a look at my vid I have 2 8 inch subs that do the same power rating and the same frequency response.

Those skytec subs are some of the worst ones you could have bought as the box is not tuned and the ports look tiny my 8 inch subs have the same size ports. BTW I built my subs and they cost the same as these and I bet you if u take them apart you'll see the wiring is very cheap, it's made from chipboard and has no dampening material!

@DJTNE don't take 250 rms serious because look at pro speakers for those prices they only do 150 rms or so .. and because yours don't have a rms rating just max power. so your looking at an rms rating half of your max power. the 15 inch are 125 rms.. and the ones I have are 100 rms because they say 200 max power.... so don't overpower them

I also have some cheap speakers as well. Paid $140 incl shipping on Ebay for my pair of 12" trapizoidals. I had them for 2 years. I have to say: They are NOT THAT BAD for the price! Although I also have Yamaha BR12s Those sound definitely better than the $140 pair BUT a BIG difference in price $500 for pair.

uhh 1000 watts was the piek power that 'the prick' could handel. you should pay more attention on what the subs RMS power is. i think that that sub could only handel 250 RMS. So you pushed your sub 4 times over his handel cappasity.

Ik heb een sta-500 verksterker met 2 PAB-15" klankkasten

en nog een sta-500 met 2 PSUB-15" suwboofers

beide van stageline. Maar als ik muziek opedraai via mengpaneel, doen mijn subs ook de gewone tonen, zou ik een crossover kopen? Gaat dit veel verschil maken? Iemand raad? Ik wil mijn sub egt veel bass laten maken maar hij maakt teveel tonen.

het eenvoudigste dat je kunt doen is ja een crossover kopen.

je kunt met een crossover zelf bepalen hoeveel frequenties er naar je subs gaan.

bijv 25 hz tot 150 hz naar je PSUB-15 en van 150 hz tot 20,000 hz naar je PAB-15

ook gaan je sub en speakers luider omdat ze niet alle tonen hoeven te spelen.

heb ik een vraagje aan jou. heb jij ze dan parallel geschakelt en zit er niet een sub-filter in je psub-15?

ik ben niet goed in die elektrische dingen maar ik denk dat ik weet wat je bedoeld. Ik denk het dat ze parallel staan. de 2 psub-15 's hangen aan een versterker en de pab-15's ook (aan een andere) die versterkers zijn beiden aangesloten aan mijn mengpaneel. Master uitgang A en de andere uitgang B. Ik denk dat mijn mengpaneel zo geen onderscheid maakt tussen welke bass en klank kast is. En ik denk dat ik geen sub filter heb. Weet jij misschien een goede, goedkopere crossover?

oh zo. dat kun je doen op bijde uitgangen een versterker er op maar dat je subs dan alle tonen laat horen dan zitten er geen filters in je subs nee.

ik raad je aan om deze crossover te kopen (de Behringer CX2310) + 6 XLR/XLR kabels. Is ook helemaal niet moeilijk om aan te sluiten anders vraag je het maar aan de mensen waar je die crossover koopt. succes...

omdat er al een passiefe bass filter in de subs zijn geplaats geven de subs aleen lage tonen (bass) aan. voor het betere werk dan zou ik een crossover kopen en een 2 de versterker. geeft beter geluid af en je hebt meer volume.

You put your subs and Top cabs on it ?? that 500RMS on each channel... The amp can only give 135 RMS wats to each channel.

Be carefull whit ya amp ore you will blow it. ore buy amp whit 300 rms for each channels to power ya subs an a crosover to spilt ya tops and ya subs.

tjaa, ik moet nu eerst nog een tabletop cd spelertje erbij, en dan kan ik wel is naar subs kijken, ik heb ook nog een american audio versterker gezien die heeft 540 watt voor een sub en 2x 220 watt voor satelliet speakers, ik zie nog wel wat ik doe.

maar je hebt geen bass van 2 TSX-10.

Ik draai met 2 phonic Sem 715's. Die geven zelfs op een statief voldoende bas en een mooi strak hoog (er zitten hoge kwaliteit piëzo's in). En dat voor 100 euro p.s. !! Ze klinken goed bij 200 watt rms en kunnen 400 watt program aan en gaan tot de 50Hz laag.

ik heb er een 1 inch titanium tweeter in.

maar die heb je ook voor 15 euro. maar die hebben wel wat beter geluidskwaliteit dan die piezo. maar ik weet niet hoe die van jou klinken dus misschien heb ik het fout maar toch heb ik liever geen piezo.

Het gekke is, die piëtzo's van mij klinken zeer neutraal (een beetje hi-fi achtig). Deze boxen zijn dan denk ik ook niet voor niets te koop in verschillende muziekzaken.

Natuurlijk moet je altijd uitkijken, maar ik heb gewoon een limiter in de versterker. Zo kunnen je speakers toch goed hard, zonder dat ze worden overstuurd. Je moet ze gewoon normaal gebruiken (dus niet zo dat de clipledjes van de versterker branden), dan doen ze het prima en ze vervormen niet na langdurig gebruik

Ik draai samen met een vriend, en we hebben voor de feesten v.a. 180 - 300 man de B-52 devestatorset en een Dap P-1700. Zéér krachtig.

Het merk is wat onbekend, omdat het met name in Amerika wordt verkocht. Dit merk valt onder de pro-audio. Voor straatfeesten en klassenfeestjes gebruik ik mijn Phonic's op statieven met een EP-1500 erachter.

De Devestatorset werkt op 1 versterker. Gewoon van L output een speakon naar de 'input' van de subwoofer en een linkkabel naar de topspeaker. Datzelfde geldt ook voor de rechter kant.
