  • I feed my dog a Tractor Supply brand food called "For Health" Anybody against that?

  • The Dog Food Advisor reviews foods with a 1-5 star rating system and how I found Taste Of The Wild and Blue Buffalo's, Wilderness formula

  • @jenifre70 i will answer you in tow parts Part1: feeding nurturing formula yourself if it meets dogs biological needs is fine. BUT.. falling in pitfalls of unscientifically proved & based on fear tactics with of dubious & obscure origins - is a totally and a definitive - NO! See PART 2 it will answer the following paragraph - as same as will N-E-V-E-R feed a dog that brand & or corporation food family due to total lost of confidence & trust - same goes to that vet clinic!
  • @Prowler1 "personal anecdote" Part 2.

my own dog (MAY HAVE) died premature because there was something terribly wrong with the food. that particular time dog was feeding (for the first time with that type & of a new bag - and years after the first time with brand that iv'e stopped when she was decade younger due to diarrhea) brand was Eukonoba. - read Part 3

  • @Prowler1 Part 3/4

the company of course would deny guilt - or anything wrong with food - but emergency events with my dog surrounding her new food change, spoke for themselves very clear!

my privet vet clinic extensively tested her (complete blood work & x-ray & other) - found nothing to enplane her dire situation - and have allowed me to come to the obvious conclusion that food iv'e just changed was source of emergent health problem. - read the last part #4

  • @Prowler1 #4

ruling out home/street poisoning. she couldn't walk when we took her out side, so we rushed to clinic.

it's sufficient evident that bag of food was the cause.

after switching bag of food & brand) she bounced back quickly - but wasn't the same after that.

(that batch of food took its toll on her, consequently causing spine paralysis, and early death...

I'll N-E-V-E-R feed that brand & corporation derivative food to any creature - due to all mentioned.

    same for that vet clinic!

  • dogfood is bad! a vet will tell u to give them baby asprin for pain and antibiotics for infection just like us so feed them (nonprocessed) food you eat within reason no hot peppers chocolate ect.

  • i have a 14 year old wiener dog who hasnt ate very much dogfood he just eats what i eat with a few exceptions and he is just fine and i also have 11yr.old fox terrier who does eat pedigree dry and my food. ive had them both all thier lives and there both happy and healthy!!!

  • I feed my dog Purina and she never got sick. I've fed one of my dogs who died Purina. She died at 14 years old. my dog who is almost 4 isn't sick..

  • lol youre an idiot!!!!!!! and the way to extend your dogs life is to buy your book!!!!!!! what a fucken joke... get that shit out of here

  • your dog died because of improper food intake then here you are selling book that will teach us how we should feed our dogs? isn't that crazy? are you saying when your dog died you spent 10 years of research? are you even a vet or something? because this doesnt make sense.. your dog died then after that your a dog food guru now how is that possible

  • Guys one thing. Eat the same food for 8 years and sure you'll get sick or eat canned and/or packaged food for 5 years and tell me if your health remains the same.

  • I agree with Prowler1, you don't offer any "proof". In fact you attribute one fact to "owners of dogs for 30 years". You fail to provide footnotes of where your studies were done and who did them. Very flawed research at best. Anytime you stand to gain financially you have a conflict of interest. Nice marketing but not very reliable information. Bottom line is that unless you are part of the studies or cite independant studies you cannot convince me that x causes z.

  • i'm sorry, but i find your video not convincing

lacking in actual proof, for many of your claims

and no different from any fear based marketing for self gain.

that does not to say everything you say is not untrue, it's just very unreliable to me.

  • As a vet, I find this video COMPLETELY TRUTHFUL. Read the advertising& labels on ANY dog food and ask yourself where THEIR ACTUAL PROOF IS! Dogs have developed next to humans for 1000s of yrs.

  • Eating the things we ate. Dog food has been around since, what?, the 40s?50s? And shortly afterwards its popularity came these emerging pathologies: cancer, organ failure, immune mediated disease, chronic diarrhea skin problems, etc. U don't need to buy food specific for dogs -just feed them FOOD! And make better choices for your pet than you do yourself!

  • my dog eats a combination of korean food and avoderm/nature's recipe farm stand selects (my dog is insanely spoiled and refuses to eat anything less than what i myself would eat). i worry because the food my mom gives her is not nutritionally balanced by "dog food standards". does it not matter? will any homemade diet, that has enough meat and vegetables, keep my dog healthy? i will be utterly disappointed if my dog dies at the "normal age". i want her to live a LONG healthy life.

  • I had a Bernese Mountain Dog that lived 17 very active and healthy years, whereas their usual lifespan is of 8-10 years. He always ate homemade food from puppy hood and never had any health issues commonly associated with the breed. My sisters Rottweiler, that was only fed commercial dog food, supposedly one of the bests in the market, died of stomach cancer when he was 8. My Rottie, that's my sisters dog brother, is well into his 11 years old and still healthy as a peach =)

  • Ohhh SHIT!! I've been eating dogfood...

  • My dachsund, Nelda is a healthy, active 17 year-old female. Her g-grandmother, Giselle, lived 22 years in Germany and was never fed commercial dog food. Giselle's pups came to the states and all of them and their offspring live under 12 years. Only Nelda and her litter mate who haven't always eaten commercial dog food are living well after 12 years.

  • I work at Daminger's Natural Pet Foods in Sewell, NJ. This video is great and totally true. If you're looking for all-natural and healthful dog foods, check out Fromm, Lotus, Verus, and Precise, to name a few.

  • wow, really, everything this guy says is a bunch of bull shyt, hes just trying to sell his book, simple as this if you want to listen to all the LIES he talks about then dont buy his book simply search online for homemade dog recipies, just please dont give him a dime, i hate people that talk shyt just to make a buck, hey andrew lewis goooo fuckkk your self

  • @aorrego1 lol contradictory comment much......

  • is Royal Canin good dog food? because thats what ive been feeding my dog

  • @happycola614

it's good compared to commercial dog foods like pedigree and purina. however, it's definitely not what you would consider "great quality dog food". do a little research. many pet food companies commit themselves to maintaining the integrity of their food and our pets. i actually have several old cans of pedigree (which my parents bought at costco while completely ignorant of this fact) that my dog wont eat because she thinks it's disgusting. try Blue, Avoderm, Canidae?

  • Thank You For Sharing This Information. Our Bear was in a really bad way & we had to euthanize July 5 2010 , he was ironically 11 years old as your video mentions. I was researching other conspiracies/cover ups with regards to human food and parasites when I chanced on yours, now I truly am feeling it highly possible that this may have been reason for his health ailments and suffering... I plan to spread the word. J

  • Has any dog ever lived 27 years?

The correct answer appears to be: "not even close". That would seem to be a major flaw in this presentation.

However, I would not be surprised if this guy is onto something.

  • @healthhavencom: There have been dogs that have lived over 25 years of age. There was Butch, a Beagle from the U.S. that lived to be 28. Adjutant and Bramble, both Labradors from the U.K., that lived to be well over 27 years. And right now, there’s Pusuke, a mixed-breed from Japan that’s 25 years old.

  • @healthhavencom While watching "Dogs 101" the other day it mentioned that the world 'oldest' dog was a blue heeler, and that on average blue heelers live 2-3 longer than average dogs... so its not a lie, its more like a distortion of the truth in it's context.

  • @healthhavencom Actually alot of dogs have lived over the age 25 including "Bluey" A blue heeler who lived to be 29 and 5 months.

  • If youre on a tight budget, look into brands like 4Health, chicken soup, healthwise, diamond naturals, premium edge, canidae, and if you have costco membership, you can get their brand Kirkland signature which is around $20 for 40 lbs.,

  • I don't know where this guy is from but in the United States, "meat" in dog food by law is defined as chicken, pork, sheep, or beef. Often it is the byproducts but our society is too wasteful. "premium" dog food is a joke. If you're really worried about your dog's food, make your own blend of USDA organic beef, chicken and vegitables. It would be much better for your dog and would probably cost less than worrying about which dog food might someday give your dog some sort of cancer. Get a life.

  • Im pretty upset that a local dog food store near me who only carried premium dog foods and who was TOTALLY against Hills, has recently been bought out by Hills. This was the only store I KNEW would not "sell out" and go with the big corporations. Well...I guess money talks and BS walks Cause they are in bed with Hills now. Guess id better contemplate real whole foods for my dogs. nobody cares about anyone's welfare when it comes to the all mighty dollar. Humans and dogs alike.

  • its about time this gets out there more thanks for making this video. I learned all this from Ann Martin the author of "Food pets Die For" a long time ago and have been preaching it for over 5 years now to spite how nutty people think you are for believing it. Ann Martin has documented proof. 13 years of research with her own labs hired with her own money to investigate ingredients. MOST commercial pet food is slow poison in a bag!!! People need to wake up and smell the BS. the proof is there.

  • im from ireland and im not sure if are brands are safe either although dogs over here do live to around 16 years on average i think they might be already copying america' tactics of money over welfare

  • You sir are a rip off if you are really concerned about peoples dogs you should not be charging for this information

  • No one is obligated to buy. Over 3,000,000 dog owners now know better how to feed their dogs because they watched our free videos. Over 20,000 dogs were saved from the 2007 pet food crisis because they bought our product & followed our advice. I dare say that is a much larger contribution to the benefit of dogs than this person has made. We are a business with real expenses, if it was free we could never afford to get this info in front of dog owners & no one would benefit, everyone would lose.

  • Q: Does Diamond Pet Foods, Inc (makers of Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul) have any problems? I didn't see anything in the report regarding this company and currently use for my dogs now. Is it "worthy"?

  • Actually you should only feed your dog real food. dry dog food or ANY commercial dog food causes many diseases and skin conditions. Dogs have only eaten "dog food" for the past 100 years. You will find you have a much healthier and happier dog if you feed your dog real food. Start with rice and chicken so they won't get loose stool after about 4 days feed them anything healthy. Veggies, RAW meat and UNCOOKED bones are great

  • the problem is, you can sometimes find a great high end, humane grade, all natural, naturally preserved premium dog food but they are usually a small company and when they grow and get bought out by the bigger brands the quality goes down the drain because the new owners cheap out on the ingredients. The consumer never knows the difference unless something obvious changes about their dog. I went thru this 4 times with what started as decent foods until they got bought out by bigger brand names.

  • i want your book but cant get to order spot, new on youtube, and have not touched acomputer since the 80's. my yorkie is 15yrs 2 months, i wany him around for many more, please respond. ps -he's going deaf, loosing some vision, not painful, not glaucoma, otherwise good heath, i want it to last.

  • Very good! I'm sorry you lose your dog. RIP

Your book will help save lives, thank you.

  • Thank you so much for the video! People need to start seeing the truth. Dogliere told me how great your vid was and I agree it's very good. Also some good brands I've found are: Halo, Paul Newman's, Harmony Farms and Holistic Blend!

    Thanks again!

  • Shockingly truthful.

If you are thinking about changing dog foods, why don't you buy raw food? You can buy it at places like petsmart, and it is plain, raw meat.

  • Thank you for this video it's very helpful!

  • If you love dogs search "KONAS CHIPS"

  • Unfortunately, there are always disatissfied customers that cannot be pleased no matter how hard we try... after many years in business we are aware of this.

We have 6 ways to get a refund, see my reply to this customers comment below..

  • This must be a scam as he provides a guarantee, just email him for your money back if you are not happy he says, BUT TRY TO EMAIL HIM, he says he gives his address to you, he does not. DON'T GET SUCKED IN, NOT WORTH THE MONEY. I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR AN HOUR TO FIND A WAY TO EMAIL HIM OR HIS COMPANY.

    FRAUD, CROOKED, SCAM, LIES.

  • 1. The receipt has clear instructions on getting a refund you do not even need to contact our support.

    2. Support email address on download page

    3. Support email address on sales page

    4. Support email address on order page

    5. Live support on sales page

    6. Reply to thank you for ordering email

We deliberately have many methods for contacting support to avoid these kind of irate customers, but while we have reduced them every business owner knows it is impossible to avoid them.

    Thanks

  • Of course we honor all refund requests. If this person actually read their receipt carefully they'd see clear instruction on how they can get a refund automatically, without even contacting us... just a matter of looking up their order in our system and then choosing to refund.

  • Are you trying to sell us a book or something ?

If yes, well you should NOT. his kind of information sould be freely available...How do you expect us to fight back Big_Brother if we don't get the good news at Hand ?

If they are lying to us, and stealing money from us, the least you can do is to release knowledge

  • Yes we do sell a product but no one is obligated to buy it. Collecting this information and compiling it into a product takes a lot of time, money and resources. If you think it has value, then why would you be unwilling to give some value to receive it?

  • Wow, you sure take a long time to make your point...Very uninspiring and horrible colors, remember YouTube posted videos have about 50% of the original video's quality.

  • The value is in the message not the video quality. I'm not a video producer but I did spend a lot of time gathering this information and making it available free of charge for everyone that is interested.

  • Try "Halo" dog and cat food. It has literally cured my 11 year old dog of liver disease and my mom's cat of kidney disease. Petco has it or order online.

  • I just checked out this food online and the price for it is ridiculous -$24.99 for only a 10lb bag! It's no wonder so many of us by the regular stuff..who can afford these prices? I am glad you can afford this brand, because I and most other people sure can't. I had a feeling they were expensive when I saw Ellen pitching for them. Nice product - bad price.

  • Harmony Farms and Blue Buffalo aren't that expensive and they have no class actions and no artificial preservatives and are hormone free. Look up Dog Safety Guide and I think theres a website with some great recommendations, hope this helps!

  • Harmony Farms is 17.5ibs for 19$-22$. Plus it has no carcinogenic chemicals, no class actions and Dogliere said is hormone free. Plus you won't have to lose your pet or pay gigantic vet bills because of the health issues cheap dog food causes. Also the price thing is often a trick. You have to feed more of the cheap brands to get the same nutritional value you would from feeding less from the higher brands.EX: about 2-3 cups for a 50 ib dog with Harmony Farms. 4-5 cups for 50ib dog on pedigree

  • thank you for the truth.

  • I'm soo mad at the dog food companys .. my cat died from the food i was feeding him ... please please stop feeding your pet all the popular brand foods .... IAMS Purina .. etc etc

  • to see the SHOCKING discoveries about Dog Food that the industry has been covering up for a very long time that is shortening your dogs lifespan go to my videos and click on "Dog Food Secrets" this is a very sad website i discovered! please see the video if you love dogs!

  • a must see all true!!!
