thnx for the vid god the wasp after my dad knocked the basketball hoop over swarmed and have so many nest if i was able to i would get some spray like axe and a lighter and just burn the nest but traps work too
Chicken meat that has been soaked in water in a fridge for a couple of days, are supposed to be an exelent lure that will stay "active" for a longer time.
Put the traps out in spring/early summer to catch the queens or hamper the nest development at an early stage.
Wasps are not that interested in sweets until end of summer when they start abandoning the nest. Thats also the time when they get most agressive. If the numbers are already low, it's easier to handle.
this is a much better trap, but the idea i used is a bit simpler ;D
i boiled a kettle full of water, and put a lot of sugar in a glass cup, i then added the water and stirred it, left it to cool, then put honey around the inside of the rim of the glass cup and then put it outside and waited for the wasps to like..drown. which i didn't watch lol.. i'm not a psychopath. *twitch*

Wasps crave sweets and meat during different times of the season. You might need to use sweets instead of meat depending on the time.
