Regarding Shane Dawson, I couldn't agree with you more--he and his cronies are talented, true, but there's something too slick and self-satisfied about the videos. (And too self-consciously "perverse" and "kinky"--I like sexual jokes as much as the next guy, but these jokes are tiresomely envelope-pushing).
And Dawson's final question posed to the YouTube audience seems to me whorish, intended to force viewer comments. I far prefer your work.
