Brushless do make me wish I went for electric, they're cleaner, more likely to be waterproof and accelerate their tires off, if only batteries recharged in a minute without aging faster. :P

How fast can this thing go for it's scale? Looks like it could go near 200kph. Too bad gravity doesn't scale down when you want it. That's why it appears to fall faster than it should.

@keeton520 Don't know much about the motor, it's probably a feigao alike (with 2000KV). But I'm pretty sure it is the Hobbywing Esc (XErun) 80A v1.

i have a 70T spur gear and a 26T pinion

and have a brushless motor with a gear ratio of: 8,0:1. mine internal ratio is 2,6154. if i do 70/26= 2,6923 x 2,6154 = 7,04 is that to low for mine motor

overgeared. ( or undergeared i dunno sure)

@mikestar50 just feel the motor so it is not too hot, if it gets hot, gear down a bit until it only feels warm after a full battery pack of running (10-15 min driving)

i don't understand much more of this but, i think you got a wrnog motor, maybe a 4 or 3.500 kv motor will fit better

It's good to see beginning of the end of burning dead dinosaurs (or potatoes, whatever they make nitromethane out of :D). This is a 1/8 buggy I'd consider racing.

Be hard to balance the weight of the car side to side with the batteries and motor being both on the left side.

Still a nice car worth checking out.
