  • i think that you should make the teddy bear a bit more dirty because it looks a bit 'clean' and 'new'

  • Everyday I check youtube just to see if another video is out by you. Cant wait to to by the movie!

  • Keep up the good work!

  • okay one thing im seeing. about the sledge, the ends of the sticks are cleanly cut, and the character as far as i know does not have access to a saw.

  • Aww, don't be a buzzkill. I was actually fretting over how clean the cuts were in the blue shirt... I don't know how they got there, but they do look manufactured...

    ---

Keep up the good work Robert. I'm on board with "jaromole"... I'm quite busy now, and your video blogs are the ones I look forward to the most these days.

interested to know how much longer we've gotta wait

  • also, how much more time will be used shooting?

  • you need to be careful of not getting snow splaatches on the lense. it can ruin the shot. I thought i saw some on some of the shots.

  • i cant wait, keep up the good work.

  • y wld they not make a dvd? tht would b pointless

  • Great

    :-)

    Love it.

  • Excellent!

Great advice. It is so wonderful to be privy to the goings on while they are still going on!

I tried posting a comment on your last video, but it got lost somewhere in cyber space after I hit the send button. I just want to say how exquisite I thought that blog was - very special to glimpse your psyches at that point in time. Plus, I said that sometimes things have a way of working out for the best when it looks like a door is closing (losing the chalet). Sounds like they did.

  • EEEEK, SPOILER ALERT!!!

  • Keep up the good work!

  • looking fantastic!!!! :):):)

  • The mountains look beautiful. what I tend to use instead of a chickin arm or what ever is just a tripod with the arms pointing at 90 degrees... works well and doesnt cost anymore money..

  • totally awesome! you just keep making this movie better and better!

  • Funny. You are giving plenty of spoilers. If that's what the rest of this is going to show, I wonder if I should just wait for the movie to be released.

  • love this whole project of yours... honestly cant wait to see the final product

  • As always, fabulous blog =] And I continue to wish you luck! I envy what you're doing.

  • great suff, my friend :]

  • Hmm... I can't get rid of this feeling, that she is really tired of the whole film-thing. You should take some time off and pay a little bit attention to your lovely girlfriend. ;)

  • will be good when fully finished

    Always will!

  • lovely stuff, as usual. love the insights and the "film school" ... keep it up - can't wait to see the end product! =)

  • the teddy bear looks brand spanking new .. i imagine you will be compositing in some dirt to make it look worn? Great Video!

  • well, don't you think if thats like the only "companion" in the his life he would keep it clean and take good care on it? because thats one of very few things he has to remember his parents.

  • I can't wait for the masterpiece to come together..

  • The entrance will be amazing. Great job!

  • Keep up the good work.

  • just a quick question..how do you do Pans if your acting.. or do you not do pans? just still shots when there is acting ect?

  • I was wondering the same regarding the panning shot he showed. Maybe it's a bescor motorized pan head he's using (although it didn't look like it)

  • He's been doing a fair amount of compositing (snow, etc.) in previous shots, he could easily do the same here with one panning shot of the hill without him and one static shot of him coming over the hill, just sprinkle on some motion tracking and rotoscoped masking and voilá!

  • I can't wait to see the final film.

We're getting closer and closer =]]]]

  • KWL ! can't wait to see how you get along in england !

  • i really can't wait till the film!

i hope you sell it on dvd cause i'll deffinaetly buy it!

  • great! These videos are really inspiring... Good work, looking forward to the finished result
