  • Im going back to watching Mexican Drug war killings brought to you by You Tube.

  • That wasnt a crash, that was a skid. It probably would have been better if you hadnt posted this. You are a very boring person. You wasted perfectly good bandwidth.

  • @eysofastrnjr You're a waste of perfectly good air.

  • Skip to 2:00 to see crash

  • after seeing this vide I will put attention to the flight attendants..

Great pilot but also great crew!

  • DO A WEB SEARCH ON:

    charles h. miranda OR:

    charlesthepoet2003

    THANKS.

  • hudson we have a problem

  • "Having twice walked the length of the cabin to confirm that no one remained inside after the plane had been evacuated, the captain was the last person to leave the aircraft."

  • whats with the aspect ratio of this video? why arent people giving it thumbs down?

  • Is it just me or is the viewing area horrible stretched? The video is only taking up exactly 1/3 of the horizontal center of the entire player with the rest of it being completely black. All the annotations are even stretched and in the right place in the vid, except the entire vid is skewed.

  • @JapanForSale In the bottom right hand corner of the video, change the "360p" setting to "240p"

  • @ncognit02 Thanks dude, The maker of the vid should probably make that more apparent... If possible xx

  • @julietBrian55 son of a bitch

  • Try to do the same with an American airplane ha!ha!ha!

  • how did the plane not sink?

  • @08avfclion09

A plane is made to be very light for it's size and pressure insulated for the most part.

  • @08avfclion09

Wing surface area and air inside the cabin helped the airplane stay afloat. When all the passengers and crew were rescued the plane started sinking.

  • @08avfclion09 just the same reason boats don't sink : archimedes' law. It's an 'empty' object, it sank a bit till it had displaced enough water to accomodate its weight, then it stopped. Don't think of it as a plane, think of it as a cargo, or something : probably lighter than many ships out on the sea and build the same way : to keep everything out, including water. What's lucky is that the outer shell wasn't compromised, or it'd have sunk just like a craked open boat.

  • best movie..worth to watch it in webmovietube

  • the plane was a US airways plane going to south carolina and i was on a us airways plane going to south carolina! O_O

  • no one is talking about the black pilot on the flight, there was a 3rd crew member, who is black....people keeping niggaz down

  • @77danigga well there arent 3 pilots for 1 flight. there was a Captain, a co-pilot and maybe a flight engineer if the A320 even has one, which i dont think it does. Nobody is trying to "Keep the black man down" we have a fucking black president for christ sake. The race card went out the window in 2008.

  • @77danigga Its not "niggaz" its niggers, say it right dude. Not to mention the airbus A320 don't even have a fucking engineer so the "black pilot" is in your head.

  • The video image is squished - too long and narrow, not high enough to see. What am I doing wrong?

  • amazing skills

  • made my day!!! thanks webmovietube

  • ... render fail

  • Ein Wunder

  • At 3:56 pause it there is a Concorde plane

  • WHAT THE HELL THIS VIDEO IS SO BAD, SO BAD

Where is the original video common,

  • Another awesome pilot.

  • I miss the Coast Guard. I'm proad of my father for being a helicopter pilot. He's since retired, but took up a job as an air ambulence i.e. an emergency helicopter.

  • this is what they train for...expect the best prepare for the worst.....that one boat was there quick to help

  • Can't make it out very well.

  • I don't think of the pilot as a hero. He was just doing his job.

  • @bazerrem And he did it exceptionally well.

  • 2:00

  • SEARCH ****** ZIO - CRUIZIN ALTITUDE ***** FOR INSIDE OF THE PLANE VIDEO!

  • god bless that pilot id give him the keys to the city !

  • look at the time: 02:01

  • skilss

  • Know how to fly a plane? HECK YA! way to go......

  • i was on that flight, that pilot is a saint!

  • @Ryan8845H Really?

  • @Ryan8845H For real?

  • Wow, can you make it go a bit slower, I can hardly see it!

  • How stupid are you? Have you never been to New York? Those are not the Twin Towers. The Twin Towers were near the very end of Manhattan. And whoever said the tall thing, they are right. The two towers were twice as tall as all the other buildings around them.

  • your right the twin towers are in the background. I had a look at google earth and google street view and where this camera is situated there is no 2 buildings that resemble the twin towers.

So that means this footage could be fake seeing as though the World Trade Centers are still standing

  • @notexceling Those are not the twin towers. The twin towers were much taller and were also farther south

  • @notexceling You make me laugh

  • @notexceling Fricking troll... "it's a video from 2009 and I see the World Trade Center Twin Towers in teh background"... fail troll is a failure

  • the pfofessional toward their job not only save their own life but whole passenger in the plane... Respect

  • What the are they the twin towers in the back ground?

  • ohh people Concord in 3:57 ......

  • that water has to be freezzzing!!!

  • the power of the current is clearly visible..!

  • Watching this pilot land the plane, everyone getting onto the wings and civilian boats immediately come to the rescue gives me some faith in humans.

  • @edenriot

I love it when you see a terrible accident and there are like 15 cars on the side of the road of people helping. . . . well you get the idea. . . . .

  • Is that a parked Concorde at 3:57??

  • Have you noticed that American Airlines sucks? Pretty much most of the planes that crashed recently are all American Airlines. That's why I'll never fly with them.

  • I can't believe how fast that river current is - that plane was really drifting fast

  • That your daddy walked away from a crash landing is wonderful...for him. For you to denigrate someone else in that circumstance is pathetic.

  • We do not all have Chuck Norris as dad.

  • @HollisCM haha that's a hilarious comment

  • badd ass!!!!

  • ahahaha 3:12, person falls off the right wing

  • sååjaa

  • @sky2jian Yeah but they teach you how incase it was to ever happen, The captin (Suley) had to make a quick decision to either A) land the plane in water or B) try to make it to a airport, So he choose very quickly to land in water he didnt wanna chance it! they might of all been dead if he didnt choose a wise choice fast!

  • yeah anyone can INTO a river.....not many can fly ONTO a river....dumbass.....why are you watching this video if it is effortless....go out and try it yourself....and fail

  • You're right in the sense that pilots are trained to land on water in the event of an emergency. The problem is, it's only simulated training. And as most people know, simulation and reality vary HUGELY!

Try testing the differences yourself. Get a racing game and drive your car at 100mph into a concrete wall. Then take a real car and drive it 100mph into a concrete wall. Lets see if you walk out alive both times. >_>

  • Yeah,no I'm not doing that!

  • Exactly, so now you can see why it's not as easy as you may think.

  • i agree lol

  • You mistake a computer game for a real incident Barf head.

  • Are you referring to my post? :S

If so, I'm talking about the fact that pilots are only trained via simulated programs how to land a typical plane on water. It's too expensive and dangerous to do it for real.

  • @Dnnysldvr09 lol

  • Amazing... And people say NYer's are unfriendly and don't help other people? It took just 8 minutes for THREE boats to arrive, and do the right thing!!! yes, NY is MY hometown, and I'm PROUD of my NY peeps!!!

  • @VimisiDigitalMedia

But they're still assholes in day to day life for the most part. I'm sure you're a nice guy though.

  • LOL - We can ALL be assholes from time to time, not just NYer's... We just have an attitude that is probably a bit too "straight forward" for out-of-towners.... I'd sum it up this way: "Lead or get out of the f**king way!"

  • what retards you think that was god

  • Comment removed

  • sucks

  • thank god.......those pilots are pretty damn good.

  • What did they do with the plane?

  • @maryoassyrian2007 they are auctioning it off "as is" its in a warehouse in NJ and whoever wins the auction has to pick it up i think it ends sometime next month

  • That ferry Captain was "Johnny-on-the-spot" with that precision rescue, a lot of hero's that day!

  • Ferry Captains surgical in their handling of their boats. Not easy to get such exacting control of a boat in the Hudson. Man, everyone did everything right that day. What a bunch of winners.

  • /watch?v=ABtBfm37rKE

    WING ON FIRE... freaky

  • Uh-huh, really?

  • amazing...........and happy end !!!

  • This is so incredible.I am proud of the pilots and crew.

  • "how many lives did you save today?" "I don't know, may be a 100, or a 150.."

well, that captain is a superhero !!

  • wow fast response by boat

  • To the morons quoting Jesus, praising God, and all that cr_p: Go to Afghanistan and join bin Laden in a cave! Geese in the air happen. You could just as readily blame God for that, as praise God no one on the plane lost their lives. The one thing to praise, is Capt. Sullenberger.

Same with Haiti. Continental Plate Tectonics caused the earthquake, not God. God did not save those who survived, luck did. The same size quake in California only killed 69 -smart economics and building is why.

  • theres no use arguing ur point, they arent just going to believe you, just accept that they believe god causes this and you dont....its ok.....they don't believe god controls everything that happens, just that he is the creator...and at times makes miracles like this happens....im not religious, just no use in calling them morons, no one really can be sure of anything honestly...what the hell is life? lol

  • @RnBramwell Very well stated! I too am just a little tired of people praising God for the good other people do. That day people showed compassion, courage, and heroism, that had nothing to do with God at all.

  • just coz u dont believe in god and are not Christian doesn't mean you have to insult people who are...everyone is entitled to believe what they want

  • What, Joel? Should we pretend ridiculous beliefs are sensible, that stupidity deserves respect? Should we respect men who believe they can cure themselves of AIDS by having sex with a virgin? That's just as ridiculous as using 2,000+ year old tribal myths as moral guidance, that some brutal, —Oh, & loving— SkyDaddy will punish you, or reward you with 'Life' after you're DEAD. Sheer nonsense, believed by grown men using computers, , cars, airplanes, pharmaceuticals, supermarkets etc!!

  • @RnBramwell god somehow started the earthquake and saved the ones he wanted....

  • Right! (Note sarcasm), & 'God' *made* me put up those comments, so why argue with them?

  • Outstanding pilot skills topped off with a great team effort to rescue everyone. It doesn't get any better!

Why is it we're so crap when it comes to fighting each other, and yet when something like this happens we absolutely shine as a species?

  • oh no you got that wrong...we do shine as species when something like this happens...but we are also gr8 at fighting...not that it's necesarily a good thing, but we are good at it...

  • On reflection you're probably right, but then we should be considering how much money we throw at it globally!

    Oh well...

Anyway, it was just uplifting to see what great skill and teamwork can achieve in everyday life.

  • very true :)

  • I bet the person that slipped into the water off the right wing at 312 was about to freeze!

  • Everyone survived...

  • are there any people survived after the plane crashed?

  • Dam is it me or we see the concorde in the back grond !! ??

  • As you can see the water is very calm. No waves. Planes are designed to land on water Many did it before. Some crashed in heavy waves, many survived. Just Google for water landings. This one made a spotlight because it ditched in NYC with a bunch of pleasure boats and news helicopters in the area.

Should it happen in some other part of the world, everyone would be dead. Frozen to death or eaten by sharks.

  • Can you name another jet which landed in the water with no fatalities?

  • @B17MIKE

Just Google for "Passenger jet water landings." There is a good article about it on Wikipedia. Survival rates vary. Some had 100%. Most not.

  • This is the America I know and am proud of...Hate sees everything...love sees nothing...its made me a better person....

  • Isn't it the best video of the year?

  • Whoa, let's leave the Mormons out of this. They do TONS of good works for LOTS of people all over the world and of other faiths.

  • Members of the LDS faith do lots of good works for other people. :) I( A Mormon) do believe that this incident was a miracle given by god, but Capt Sully played a HUGE part :)

  • @drcodyjones

...if it was god then why did he fuck up the plane in the first place?

if god would exist none of that shit would have happened

  • @G4pcta Way over your head G4pcta.

  • @G4pcta God didnt fuck up the plane, if you don't believe in god or havent got a clue you're really not going to understand, Everything in life isnt going to be peachy, There is god/good but there is also Devil/evil.

  • The most impresive part to me was the behavior of the passengers. That alone saved many lifes. God is good and God is great!!

  • Comment removed

  • @CFBmotor Did you really just ask if those are the twin towers?

  • your account was created in 2006 and you havent figured out that youtube comments are one of the internet's prime sources of stupidity?

  • @alphamone

    this is very true.

  • never a truer word written!

  • thats insane how captin sullenburger landed on water!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @XXLOVETOHATEMEXX I agree. Even more insane how its been a year already (ok not quite as insane)

  • Shanktinkerbell, you're an idiot. Occults (pl.) is not even a word. Your trying to say "cult" like religions, but again you show us all how stupid you fundies really are. Here's something to ponder.... "I like your Christ, I do not like your Christians. Your Christians are so unlike your Christ.

    -Ghandi

  • Why do people argue in the comments of every single video on Youtube.

  • y there are so many comments which are "not" related with this video? so funny

  • UR RIGHT BUT THERE THE SAME SIZE

  • seem too small for the twin towers but who knows??/

  • Yeah I wondered about that too

  • dude I see twin towers in backround omg its probably ghost but scary

  • this video doesn't load. fix please.

  • mr aaron i was being sarcastic you nimrod. it was to all the dumbasses who think the WTC is visible.

  • maddiesen, you are a retard, it was september 11 2001, how do you call yourself an american

  • No the twin towers came down in 2001 I think. September something or other.

  • Concorde in 4:14

  • Those aren't the twin towers people......the plane landed by the Intrepid.....that's way to far north for the WTC area........

  • why is everyone taqlking about god. its a little thing called physics that saved them

  • Exactlly, like on them Rescue 911 shows they say "God saved my son" .. No it was the Police, Fire department and Paramedics! LOL

  • LOL, yeah, that's what it was. And physics and the joke commonly referred to as "science" (you know, the same JACKASSES tryin to find life on mars, and promoting the sham "global warming) is a perfect entity, isn't it? ROFL! The "physics" that you refer to did indeed work, because they were applied by an heroic human being that God allowed to succeed. PERIOD

  • @shanktinkerbell So, by your reasoning, the heroic pilots of Japan Air 123 in 1985 who kept their 747 flying for 32 minutes without a tail but who crashed with 520 deaths were thwarted by God's will? If your God is as cruel and amoral as that, you can keep him. It's funny how that "joke" of science led to the car you drive, the computer you type your inanities into, and the MRI that can detect a tumor in your child. Shame on all those "jackass" scientists whose results led to such breakthroughs!

  • lol, "the car I drive!!!" Niiiice retort! Yeah, the "car I drive!" Like I said, flawed. to say the least! Now, your pathetic statement about God: God isn't cruel, you and I made the world what it is! Don't blame God for your adultery, your murdering someone, or anything sinful for that matter! And, you bet I'll "take/keep" him!! Because, in the end, without him, you "WILL" wish you could come back to this very second you're reading this.

  • @shanktinkerbell Your car is powered by internal combustion, uses IC/CAD-CAM technology, its interior/exterior design are the result of scientific focus groups, the heating /cooling of the mechanicals rely on thermodynamic principles. The basic science behind the engineering of your car comes from the tireless, dedicated work of many brilliant scientists who gave their careers, and sometimes their lives, for scientific truth. God, STRIKE ME DOWN NOW FOR SPEAKING SUCH LIES!!!... Uh, still here.

  • @shanktinkerbell

so yer science has evidence, you know the stuff that makes things believable. what has god got? a book??? now wtf there is 1000's of religions how is this one the right one? now i believe in science and u may not i dont have a problem with that. but still cmon a force guiding someone?? im guessing 9-11 was to gods help too? (sorry for the people who get offended by this) but really it was just a bunch of idiots in the white house who gave osama a know how to do all this.

  • You're joking, right? "Thousands of religions??" Noooooo. You calling "islam" a religion? You referring to "mormonism" as a religion? They are called "occults."

I can see right now this will really go nowhere.......so, believe whatever you will. It's your right. But, like all actions in this life, there are consequences, and, not all of them "here."

  • @shanktinkerbell

the only thing that is a joke is god. and i never said anything about islam cultures. i was talking about the actual 'god' that u worship wanted thousand of people to die, then i said no it was just some guy called osama who planned it using CIA knowledge that he gained. really USA screwed themselves over.

  • LOL, I'd argue you if you had any intelligence, but your moronic statements like "i was talking about the actual 'god' that u worship wanted thousand of people to die" tell me anyone who would believe that is beyond ignorant. If you're actually that stupid, I feel for your parents (I mean that, from the bottom of my heart).

  • @crustproductions

shut your mouth you terrorist fuck. goddamit raghead

  • Care to explain why you think Mormonism is a cult? I'd love to hear your reasoning.

  • If you were as wise as you claim to be, science and faith have massive overlaps...only the foolish seek to separate them.

  • @stopularno There is no "massive overlap" between faith and science. The scientific method is based on publicly-observable and repeatable objective findings. Regardless of my faith in some desired outcome, only objective, publicly observable, and repeatable evidence matters in science. There is no "God did it" section in the peer-reviewed papers that I publish, only an introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. Please read more about science before making such a patently false statement.

  • you cant disprove god!
