Is it just me or is the viewing area horrible stretched? The video is only taking up exactly 1/3 of the horizontal center of the entire player with the rest of it being completely black. All the annotations are even stretched and in the right place in the vid, except the entire vid is skewed.

What's lucky is that the outer shell wasn't compromised, or it'd have sunk just like a craked open boat.

As you can see the water is very calm. No waves. Planes are designed to land on water Many did it before. Some crashed in heavy waves, many survived. Just Google for water landings. This one made a spotlight because it ditched in NYC with a bunch of pleasure boats and news helicopters in the area.

As you can see the water is very calm. No waves. Planes are designed to land on water Many did it before. Some crashed in heavy waves, many survived. Just Google for water landings. This one made a spotlight because it ditched in NYC with a bunch of pleasure boats and news helicopters in the area.
Should it happen in some other part of the world, everyone would be dead. Frozen to death or eaten by sharks.

Please read more about science before making such a patently false statement.
