  • Elvis was a great influence on John Lennon and the Beatles! Without his influence, there wouldn't have been a lot of great music by many other artists who he also influenced!

  • true but the beatles were still great musicians before they were influenced by elvis and in the beatles musuem in liverpool i read that elvis was overwhelmed by the popularity of the beatles when they first landed in america and he was a very big fan himself

  • Thank you for speaking of the true greatness of Elvis Presley. The impersonators sicken me. I personally think he was the greatest singer entertainer in history.

  • hi i say you at endlessmind festival

  • I like how you talk directly and refer to novice and pro players as "we". It's nice to have someone not talking down to you while teaching. Thumbs up, 5 stars!!!

  • Appeggio picking and quick hammer-on techniques will follow. To early at this juncture. But watch out for appeggio picking, we just commenced, and more in next video. We are marathon runners here, without getting folks to frustrated going ahead of ourselves. Keep on punching tigers K.

  • You have the chords right, but the guitar in the song plays individual notes - you should show people how they play it on the recording. check out my video to see how its played.

  • I really dig your sound - been trying to get this right for years - cheers

  • Good lesson, mate! Thanks. Cheers from Chicago, IL.

  • Cheers mate!

  • great vid again Frank. You could put a Part 2 video on to expand on the strumming if time is against you .

  • "You know nobody ever like you":-D Not very good.

  • Thanks Frank much appreciated great lesson as always.

    Cheers Colin

  • Awesome as usual, thanks! I really enjoy these.

Consider editing the video after recording to make it fit the 10 minutes. Either chop it into multiple videos that are less than 10 minutes or remove enough material to make it fit. I don't know what you are recording with though so I can't make specific suggestions.

  • Note: that second chord is a slash chord. F/C it is the C chord, but the second finger drops down to the G (3rd) on second fret. So it is more of a F with the C Bass note. I had to re-do the video after first effort went over 10 mins. Was not a happy camper as i had some tips on strumming technique. BTW changing to "Director" did not help. Still rejects. Cheers.
