the best repair is to replace the stepper motors and do some other work while your in there. A DIY is not recommended as you can damage the circuit board. Send it to autoxpresstech , They do the entire cluster and you'll never worry about it again.
Look at the other cluster video I have posted....they go together....it was a stepper motor issue that somehow but messing around with the needle i got it to stick and work correctly.
