  • Bulgogi is the name. I normally add the stuff and make it to taste before adding the meat to the marinate. I cut the meat into thin strips before marinating, so it takes no time. I couldn't figure out why mine never came out as tender as my mother. I knew I used the same ingredients but just not the same. The woman was using ribeye roasts!!! It was melt in your mouth tender every time. lol.

Instead of sugar, I like to use frozen apple juice concentrate. Adds a nice flavor. No vinegar in ours.

  • @VivianRinSC Thanks so much for the tip! Apple juice sounds great! Ribeye roast would certainly would melt in your mouth! Great stuff!

  • This is one of my favorite things to have at my korean friends' houses and at korean restaurants. Your recipe looks awesome =D

Did you do any prep to the flank steak beforehand? The ones I buy from costco sometimes have a thin membrane/silverskin on them -- I'm not sure what to do with it really. I guess when you cook it and slice it against the grain you won't notice it anymore (I think). Thanks again!

  • @fezan84 Hey Fez! I am happy you like this! I did not do anything to the beef. However, it wouldn't hurt for you to remove the thin membrane, using a sharp knife to start and then pulling it off. Cutting it against the grain really takes care of tough membrane. Have a wonderful week!

  • @superdarksonic23 You will love it! Promise! Thanks for watching!
