Citrus pulled pork I did this weekend Luv'd it . I took some to work since everyone there is big on meat variety . Got them all wound up some one else brought bbq in the next day an a another person is bringing in there dish tommorrow . lol
Wow! It's almost supper time and my mouth is watering! Gonna try this one! I will have to make some Mojo chicken to go with it for the girls! YUM. Thanks Maryann!
Bulgogi is the name. I normally add the stuff and make it to taste before adding the meat to the marinate. I cut the meat into thin strips before marinating, so it takes no time. I couldn't figure out why mine never came out as tender as my mother. I knew I used the same ingredients but just not the same. The woman was using ribeye roasts!!! It was melt in your mouth tender every time. lol.
Instead of sugar, I like to use frozen apple juice concentrate. Adds a nice flavor. No vinegar in ours.
This is one of my favorite things to have at my korean friends' houses and at korean restaurants. Your recipe looks awesome =D
Did you do any prep to the flank steak beforehand? The ones I buy from costco sometimes have a thin membrane/silverskin on them -- I'm not sure what to do with it really. I guess when you cook it and slice it against the grain you won't notice it anymore (I think). Thanks again!
@fezan84 Hey Fez! I am happy you like this! I did not do anything to the beef. However, it wouldn't hurt for you to remove the thin membrane, using a sharp knife to start and then pulling it off. Cutting it against the grain really takes care of tough membrane. Have a wonderful week!
oh my! your dog is just adorable! what breed is that?
oh and that beef is just mouthwatering! i can't wait to try this!

@123johnston Yes I do. I actually have one for meats, one for veggies and one for fruit - I don't like my fruit to taste like onion and garlic.
