@tranceofdances We have heard of young/inexperienced team. 2006-2007 we still made the tournament. We have a young/inexperienced team (to a degree this year) and we still will make the tourney. Roy is a very good coach, but bottom line, if Coach K was the coach of UNC in 2009-2010 they would have made the big dance. Roy's a better recruiter, K is a better all-around coach, without any question.
We'll see how Roy does with another inexperienced team next yr, when they lose 3-4 guys to the draft

Rivers can score, but he has no defense and no left hand, the 3rd plumlee will be just like his brothers (suck). That means that the experience is gone, no perimeter defender and still no inside presence. UNC has McCadoo and hairston. McCadoo will give us even more inside presence and hairston will give us the outside shooting were lacking. Remember everybody is coming back for UNC

UNC is back, they had a down year last year because alot of things went horribly wrong. They may not win it this year bc of depth, but definitely next year.

Secondly, Drew II and Marshall were sharing the point guard spot because Roy tried to give drew a chance because of last year's blame on him. That's called loyalty, something drew didn't have, but everybody knew Roy was going to eventually go with Marshall, that's why drew left. Roy wanted to ease marshall into the game

@tranceofdances We have heard of young/inexperienced team. 2006-2007 we still made the tournament. We have a young/inexperienced team (to a degree this year) and we still will make the tourney. Roy is a very good coach, but bottom line, if Coach K was the coach of UNC in 2009-2010 they would have made the big dance. Roy's a better recruiter, K is a better all-around coach, without any question.
We'll see how Roy does with another inexperienced team next yr, when they lose 3-4 guys to the draft

Rivers can score, but he has no defense and no left hand, the 3rd plumlee will be just like his brothers (suck). Then the refs helped a little, but that just comes with homecourt advantage. Even Jason Williams who played for Duke said that UNC gave the game away. UNC is back, they had a down year last year because alot of things went horribly wrong. They may not win it this year bc of depth, but definitely next year.

UNC is balanced, Duke is a three pointer team, UNC has better defense, Duke only has Nolan Smith, UNC lost 5 players, Duke just 1.

@TheDukeFan96 Get serious. First off, key word last year, not this year. Duke had a better inside presence with zoubeck and thomas last year, this year...kelly and the plumlees suck. Duke lost because Barnes owns singler, our bigs own Duke bigs and Duke relies on the three more than last year, plain and simple. Until Duke gains an inside presence, UNC will own Duke for years to come.

@quasiinjun uh last transfer that was actually because of playing time was..oh wait. hasnt happened in 10 years. Elliot williams transfered to memphis because his mom was in critical condition with cancer. He wanted to get closer to her and his family. Taylor king also had a problem where he did not take basketball seriously. Thats the reason he went to nova. And if you didnt know, he left nova because he failed a drug test. And im pretty sure alot of freshman start for duke when they first come

@TheDukeFan96 Ok 1st off in the 1st half Singler committed 2 FLAGRANT fouls by taking out the legs of Zeller and Barnes so he should've been ejected, and Smith should've been ejected with 2 Technicals by unsportsmanlike conduct when he threw the ball down when zeller dunked off him twice. So yeah only reason they won was b/c of dumb refs.

@TheDukeFan96 First of all Duke had the easiest title run in history last year, they played Butler who just had a cinderella run, not Kentucky, or Kansas or any bigtime program. Secondly, Drew II and Marshall were sharing the point guard spot because Roy tried to give drew a chance because of last year's blame on him. That's called loyalty, something drew didn't have, but everybody knew Roy was going to eventually go with Marshall, that's why drew left. Roy wanted to ease marshall into the game

@brockstokes to repeat the comment i made earlier, first of all Duke didn't have their best player and pro prospect, Kyrie Irving. with Irving, Kendall Marshall wouldn't have done shit and Duke would have rolled. also, if UNC lost Harrison Barnes, they wouldn't have won 7 games in the ACC for sure.
also, at least the Devils kept competing even if things weren't working out on Saturday. they didn't bitch and roll over like UNC did in last year's failure.
