It's easier to use the split screen. From person experience, it's easier to correct mistakes and get rid of unneeded coding. It also shows you what you're doing html wise while you're designing the website.

Well, it's really cheaper to learn HTML than to buy Dreamweaver for $400! I learned HTML, CSS & JavaScript in 2 months and now I'm going to learn PHP. All these for free, without buying any useless product, as Dreamweaver that, finally doesn't learn you anything! For all these languages I mentioned the least you need to have is Notepad/gedit. Yes, that little program that writes only text... BTW, really good video, but only for those who think that all websites are made with Adobe Dreamweaver :)

@MrAlditho Dreamweaver lets you do the coding yourself, also. You don't have to design it in the "design" tab. It helps alot because, it shows you what you're doing while you're coding. It is more expensive(unless you find a free version online). But, in order to be a web designer, you have to know how to code yourself with html,css, etc. It's obvious that all websites aren't made with DW. But, I personally love DW. And we used it in Web design class.

Try going to the code section and searching for 'bgcolor="#000000"' - If it says that then change the code to #FFFFFF
