The intro is actually different on all of the different versions actually. All of the version have different lenghed music so therefore the band sequence is also different in each version.
I know this because I'm so sad that I've played most versions even if it was just for the band.
and the snes and the genesis too, the only version i can find that doesnt have the chuck rock band playing is the atari st version. I also played this game it was a repetitive over hyped shambolic peice of gaming crap with half decent ( save the day) graphics.
Snes, and Megadrive version has the same intro music

This is an awesome game...and its sequel and one of the reasons i still use my 1200 today....an absolute classic.

The mega cd version as this intro and the same tune, so some of your information is incorrect, other wise good review.
