That's the volume of an attorney objecting while simultaneously and desperately searching their memory for any legitimate basis for the objection. There was no legitimate basis and the judge ignored the objection.

She tried to make a comeback with the old "asked and answered" objection but, of course, the witness still had not answered the question and the judge ignored that objection as well.

@dmed312 Probably, the other side was saying the guy on the witness stand "flipped them off". The guy on the witness stand was likely saying "no, I just put my hand in the air and pointed". The lawyer was presumably trying to establish that the other party was fully capable of understanding whatever gesture was made, and could not possibly have been confused or "misunderstood" the intention. :-)
