This kid must have faught so much to get to that point. i love the story and i love the character. congrats patrick and both teams for being very mature about the matter.

  • That was amazing!! Gave me the chills just by knowing how much it meant for the kid!

  • TIBS! I'm proud you decided to sport the number 3 buddy!

I know you've wanted this forever buddy, I can remember you in Jr. High shooting hoops with Al every day at the annex for an hour after school was out!

Just goes to show that you get what you work for, and in Tibs case he definately deserved this. Hope to see you soon

  • Yeah, props to both coaches man.

That game must have meant a lot.

    Im proud of him

  • My 18 year old daughter wishes you lived in our town -- she'd like to ask you out! We saw you on the evening news and she said "Oooh, he's handsome..."

  • those shots are no flukes....pat can straight up stroke..during halftime of almost everygame he was out there draining shots. in the local news they had him hitting a full court shot....no sweat

  • Nothing but air and nothing but inspiration. Beautiful, Patrick!

  • Hahaha it would be really tempting to just block the crap out of one his shots, and then flex ur muscles to the crowd. Or block him, and then give Patrick one of the Dikembe finger-wags. But no in all seriousness, that was great to see, and I hope that it was extremely special and meaningful for Patrick and his family, and it's something that he remembers forever.

  • :) thats good what they did for him.

  • magical

  • Well he has more range than i do.

  • Good job Patrick!

  • What an awesome coach. I wish i hate a coach like that

  • From Toronto, Canada...

Tears in my eyes at the end there.

Bless him and the spirit of the event.

Make the controversy of things like the 100-0 girls game all the more clear.

    Sport is about so much.

It's about opportunity, humanity and growth.

    Bless him.

  • gotta give both teams credit for letting him take those shots. They both understood what it meant to him =)

  • He goes to my school =). When I saw that on the news, I was like.. WOW! Great job Pat.

  • OMG WHAT A CHUCKER

    jk...good for him though

  • if i was in that game i would have blocked the crap out of that ball and dunked on the other end....jk jk its a reallly nice video though

  • LMFAO HAHAHAHAHHA funniest comment i have seen in a while...its the truth...idk this video makes me feel good inside about humanity lol

  • what the hell, out of all of his shots her made two...two...

  • right, cus the fact that he has down syndrome plays doesnt play a factor....

  • try and do what he does with the struggle and frustration he has for something so easy to us....

  • loooool.......dis is lyfe

  • Well they tried to make it like that autistic kid, but it wasn't nearly as emotional, but nice job anyway.

  • That 2-3 zone will allow this kind of stuff to happen

  • hahahah niccceeeeeeee.
