Can we be friends. And who is the left handed shooter. Kiss that man. But not me. I did my 4 years in Clinton's ARMY, so one of you girls out there do it.
It's a standard Glock 19 with an aftermarket full-auto switch. You can see the switch on the back of the slide at 0:58.
The guy who owns the switch happens to be a Class II manufacturer that makes them for police and some militaries. This one is his "dealer sample", and is not available for sale to civilians.
Actual Glock 18s are very rare in the US, and their switch is on the left side of the slide, not on the rear.
It's a standard Glock pistol with an aftermarket full-auto switch. I believe the stock gun is a Glock 19 in 9mm. The guy who owns the switch manufactures them for the police and military (private sales of post-1986 machine guns like the switch are illegal in the US), and so as a manufacturer/dealer, can own "samples". This was one of those samples. It's a lot of fun, but it gets expensive quickly.
Putting some of YHM's silencers through the paces, eh? I work for Yankee Hill making parts for AR15's, M4's, M16's, Mark 19 grenade launchers and Mark 2 .50 cals. Nice to see some of our stuff being put to use.
Indeed! You guys make some nice stuff. We had Gem-Techs on the Uzi and one 10/22 (not pictured), and YHM on all the rest. They worked pretty darned well. Keep up the good work.
To carry? Depends on the state. Some states, like Arizona, you can openly carry (i.e. in an exposed holster, like a police officer) with no permit. To carry concealed requires a state-issued permit. It depends on the states, with some not issuing any permits, others (like Arizona) issuing them upon request and passing a background check.
You can have full autos in I believe 39 states as long as you go through the correct paperwork and the atf and local police executive officer in your area says it is ok.
Loads of fun, and what better way to blow through $300 in ammo, in a few minutes? lol. Oh, loved the peace symbol T-shirt. Peace through firepower, maybe? ;-)
As far as I know, the United States, Canada, and Switzerland are the only countries that trust private citizens to own personal machineguns (though I think the Swiss aren't quite as free about it, and Canada's not as free in that respect as the US). I guess we get all the fun. :)
You forgot about Israel! Open carry with automatic weapons is a common, everyday practice for citizens there. Also, in the U.S., its not that our government "trusts" us with machine guns, its that it is a basic, G-d-given human right to possess the proper means of maintaining your freedom, and in this day and age, that proper means is the ownership of battlefield weapons! The United States merely protects its citizen's rights to do so.
I don't know about Canada, but I'm pretty sure that the Swiss and Israeli's are banned from private ownership, they only have automatic rifles on loan from the government for the militia.
Pete, just saw this again today in my favorites. Hard to believe that's it's been 3 years.
How have you been?

Always fun dumping mags in the AZ desert. Are all of those you/you're friends private-owned guns?
72chevelless530 2 years ago
Most of them. The automatic pistol was owned by the manufacturing business one of them owns, as it was made post-1986.

The correct term is peace through SUPERIOR firepower! You've gotta outgun those that would breach your peace in order to earn your peace!
