How could there be 10 dislikes to this? It's great - Great vocals, harmony, and rhythm sung with a joyful attitude of people who just love to make music.
Amazing. They're called Made Over. They met in a mens shelter and have dedicated their voices to gospel. If you love their music, support them by buying their CD! their label (Subway Music) only takes $2 from every CD sold!

Great voices. Kinship harmony. I would enjoy hearing more. 3 thumbs up. Well, 2 thumbs and 1 big toe... the other big toe was cut off as I was listening to yaw had it on the subway track. Ouch... but good. Thanks for sharing this.
Four talented guys. A shame there's no venue other than street corners and subways for talented musicians, esp. ones with gifted voices as these gentlemen.
i loveee themm! i saw them by the grand central shuttle i was waiting for my friends there and i felt awkward just standing there then they started singing and it blew my mind. i have their cd no big deal... the name of their group is called spank by the way
It's a cappella with gospel-style harmonies. It is standard to sing barbershop in a male quartet, but the music is characterized by more than just the number and type of singers.
@HeyyyLexa im pretty sure this group do this as their job. when i went to NYC i saw them. Apparently thee were offered record deals but they declined because they love doing what they are ding
These guys are absolutely awesome. This is some old school goodness that should be rewarded with plenty of tips. I would empty my wallet if I ran into these guys on a subway.
That's soooo wrong. Ignorance. You obviously don't know what it means to be a part of an entity that works toward preserving roots music. Tradition. History. It means nothing to you because you're an ignoramus.

"CHOICEJCBB" come on guys i didn't mean any disrespect, i'm just saying that society today don't really care about roots music, they only care about music that has the words "murder", "kill", "hoe", "bitch", "hate" you know because those are the type of music that radio stations are getting big money for
Well, zipitup75, the "society" we are in, actually works hard to pay tribute to African American roots music, and while the topics of all roots was certainly not innocent...it didn't depend on those terms to sell records. Blues, R&B, jazz, gospel...musical history, for which a very heavy socio-economic price was paid, and we are committed to preserving this important, and overlooked part of history. We work hard for it, in spite of no commercial radio airplay.
Thank you & its an Honor to receive that kind of support & compliment from you. I meet you guys years ago a benefit gone wrong with first group & a friend of mine Teddy B. You all have a great sound.
They're fucking amazing, is what they are! If there's a way to get in contact with these boys and get them a fuckin' job, then let me know . . uh . . .somehow?
hahah they jumped onto a subway train when i was in nyc and scared the crap out of me. they were walking around saying very cryptic things. but their performance was awesome! they're excellent.
