all charities are scams and when these people stop getting hand outs they will get a damd job close there leggs and stop begging, let the babys daddy buy gifts...let the little nigglets fend for themself
and i'll add t this, we dont give to salvation any anymore, because they are liars!!! I know a for fact last year because i volunteered, they only let people have 1 gift per child, and said it was because they didnt have enogh donations, when in fact the inventory in the basement after giving to all that applied had over 2,000 toys remaining....we were more than angry as we had donated over 10. so i say give cheerfully,but know who you're givng to.
@davethebaker1 ----what a stupid statement.....my husband and i faithfully donate to several toys drives every year, even this year as he is aid off....until the economic staus isrpired in this country people will need help. We know a young woman with 2 different degrees, and she has been out of work for almost 9 months. And she is single wita child....beig married doesnt mean the problems go away, having a job doest eiher....grow up stupid.

@littlefreakhands you should really take a hike, your problem is that you don't want to take responsibility for your own. Leave this lady alone, she is probably a hard working single mother who's babies' daddy bailed on her and who deserves a break every once in a while. This reminds me of my mother who was also single and who tried hard to make ends meet. If you don't want to be generous then don't, but don't go around criticizing other's people's decisions.
IMO more money should be spent on helping our economy than war, bailing out failing mortgage companies and other crap we DONT NEED right now. All trickels down
