Excuse me but I need to clarify something. Don't blame BP. Remember Obama saying "I'm in charge now"? Obama is the one calling the shots. Obama is the one scaling back the cleanup. BP is just announcing it.

There's a difference between scaling back and refocusing. This concerns me, because while they are saying they're scaling back, they're selling it as a refocus... and some how I dont buy how they're selling it.

@RomeoCo I think they just used toxic chemicals to hide the oil.. and now they are packing the majority of the effort up to pretend it's not so serious.... Why aren't they testing the water and broadcasting the results? Why aren't they using robots or something to check the bottom of the ocean?

I'm not an expert but after watching some videos, the way they are handling this just gives me so many questions..

@GravDiga Its frightening, while its probably over blown speculation, there's reports coming in that this could lead to another great extinction as the oil kills off billions and billions of micro organisms that other sea life needs to feed. Is that a likely scenario? I hope not. But the fact that it's even a possibility, should alarm BP into action, but like climate change, they choose the irresponsible way of simply neglecting the problem and hoping it goes away, with a dose of misinformation.
