@ottojinn this product can actually be a huge help for training. With this said, it is vital that you desensitize you dog to whatever training tool you chose to use especially this collar to avoid stress. The head collars, like any other tool are designed to work WITH a training program and are not a fix all. Tools put on the dog whether a head collar, harness, or flat collar can cause stress if used inappropriately, which is why it is important to read the instructions and not abuse it.
