Pro's No kids on it, big maps, destruction, tanks,planes choppers, boats.

Cons... Doesnt use all the map to full potential, NO LOBBIES, guns suck ie damage and slow unlocks an no choices for ages, BASE SPAWNING, waiting time between matches, Those light gun attachments that belong on a kids game like cod!!

BFBC is still the best one they made and bf2 is alot better than this one aswell, its a good game but feels rushed an lacks imagination.

I bought Battlefield 3 a week ago, instead of Modern Warefare 3 , since I owned Black Ops in the past and didn't want to be biased in choice of game- The story mode is brilliant, and the graphics are utterly lifelike , but for me the frame rate kills the gameplay a lot of the time, the aiming isn't smooth at all and in multiplayer even on the playstation 3 the gunfighting seems to lag- even though it isnt because it's just the frame rate, half of what MW3 has which is 60fps bit of a shame :/

Disappointing !!!! horrifically linear single player to the point where it crashes if you don't do what it wants you to do, when it wants you to. If I wanted boring linear gameplay I would have bought MW at least thats polished boring linear gameplay. Aiming is like shooting from inside a rolling barrel its terrible. PS3 graphics are poor, horrible grainy shadows and cardboard cut out grass. Non destructible scenery and flashlights which blind you in broad daylight. NOT IMPRESSED !!!!

EA have let this game down with there servers :( great game but mine (i'm not the only one) is full of freezing problems. Mines froze on the menu screen just after you push start and it keeps freezing in the same spot no matter what I do, same things happened to a few online friends and now i'm waiting for EA to release updates to fix it :( Hurry up!

Is anyone else having problems with being in a squad with your friends? It seems when we squad up, and start the game we get separated. We never stay together. Or, we're in the same squad, but can't talk to one another. Plus, like this guy says at 3:30 my game lags a LOT!! The graphics are'nt much better than Medal of Honor. I certainly don't see how there any better than Bad Company 2. The overall gameplay is very realistic, but it sure seems their having a lot of problems with the servers.

In all fairness, there were some good call of dutys (2 and 4 for example), and I used to be the kind of person who played cod all the time, and would only play Bf if I had nothing else to do, but now the tables have turned. I thought cod was ok until Black Ops, and now all I do is play BFBC2, and I'm getting BF3 later today (can't wait). It was my friend Luke who turned me to BF, so thanks Luke! Crysis was the base of games like this. Now that Battlefield has learnt from Crysis (in a good way and I am NOT suggesting they copied Crytek) the game industry needs to learn from games such as these. We can't just have COD after COD after COD running on the same engine over and over again, apart from different maps, guns and features there is no new element to the game, no new height of realism and no innovation. BF3 and Crysis and a few other games out there are stepping up, game on!
