Los Hermanos Yoshida son unos maravillosos músicos que han sabido combinar sabiamente los sonidos tradicionales del Japón antiguo con los ritmos modernos de la nueva Era creando una música exquisitamente armónica. Sin duda los Mejores del Género!!
i get goosebumps when i find a song that i like and this track, my friends, not only gave me that, it sent me to the ER. Severe case of EXCITEMENTATIS, the doc said. Thanks Yoshida brother, i'll be sending u the bill p.r.e.t.t.y. soon...
I was listening to this masterpiece, while driving on some lost roads in SE Asia and I had to make a huge effort not to "fly" down the ravine......... powerful emotions!!
Thanks for sharing this track, awesome unique sound, they are very talented musicians. And thanks for your support regarding the chicken vid, really appreciate it.
@maxgunn555 You might wanna try out their song A Hill With No Name... and a band called Act Kadenza (especially their songs Shout at Disharmony and Tasteless Landscape)
Oh... and maybe Aquatic Ambience from Donkey Kong Country XD
Still... mixing traditional Japanese style with modern style is just genius
@Nintendosaiyan3 thank you. aquatic ambience from the hidden bonus water stage. love that. i bought a snes recently and all those games are classic better than most today.
@maxgunn555 lol, I know this is a two-month old reply, but if you still read this...
Jun Seba is the artist you're looking for. He's a Japanese artist, similar to the Yoshida brothers. He's better known as Nujabes, but he's very underground. At least he was, before he tragically passed away. I find his music to be very relaxing, and this song would have gone perfectly with his style.
@maxgunn555 theres one guy i came across that did a tribute piece (he is doing well because of youtube), which im not sure if it is a cover, seeing as i haven't much knowledge on nujabes. Anyhoo, the guy that did the piece is called Jason Yang, an electronic and classical violinist and hes got a lot of talent. the sad thing is he said in the description of the piece that he really wanted to meet or even am with him, so he did the piece instead.
@Daftbananana I was friends with Seba Jun. Jason Yang is a master musician, and young man who can play many an instrument. Seba Jun-San's family recognizes his cover as one of the most touching and well thought out covers of music out there. :)
@C1TeamMidNight it is good that they do because the cover shows he really cares. Because of Jason i now own an electric violin and use it regularly alongside my acoustic violin, both of which i love to bits ^^
i search up random music, like around the world to find something i like (not one of those ignorant teens that only like africans talking in rhyme or autotuned "popstars), and i think this might be my favorite... really, i thought this would go into my ipod as a "japanese" genre along with flow's okuru kotoba and stuff like that, but iunno. this music is so wonderful and different, i think it should be in a "shimasen" or "yoshida brothers" genre... what to yall think?
No matter the culture you was born into, one must have a deep apperiation for the melodys these masters of their art bring to us. I am forever grateful for the experience they share with me, and spread upon this world.
Чудова музика. Дуже гармонійна, красива, мрійлива. Вже переслухав багато пісень цих музикантів і тільки більше закохуюсь в їхні мелодії та звук інструментів. (UKR) Beautiful. I love this song. Just descovered this duet today and totally love their music!
Man got to give cred to them Yoshida Brothers, they can really SHAMISEN it! Love how they took a very traditional intrumental sounds and made it very modern. That is some talent right there. Thanks for the post.
wow!!! this is so amazing. never heard of such great music. i am very proud of the young guys who are contributing to keep the traditions of their forefathers. this is the way to go.
i love these guys, first time i heard it was this morning, and since then i cant stop listening to them, i like japanese folk music and whatnot , so this stuff is really good to listen to
i heard this for the first time last night on some nyc station and they played this along with other asain songs i find it very nice its sounds like a lil jazz with a mixture of these instuments very nice indeed they would probably play this on the jazz station lol
No no nothing like that. You know how people have different music for different moods. I am not trying to be perverse about it at all. Its gentle music, seriously.
This song is legendary. One of the most amazing thing I have ever heard. So deep that it heals my soul every time I listen to it. No words can describe the beauty of this song
