  • is that the same field where randy johnson hit that bird?????

  • @AceFackelman nope, never mind

  • out

  • lol that was a pretty good throw from the knees after being hit like that

  • SAFE! BYU BYU BYU!

  • Out

  • he was out and he was ok :(

  • Got knocked the Fuck out

  • he was out

  • It was a tie. Which means the runner is out. And I want no replies saying tie goes to the runner, because that is false. In the book it says the runner must BEAT the defense. A tie is not beating them, therefore, he is out.

  • @Juice151515 exactly there is no such rule as tie goes to the runner finally somebody that actually understands the game of baseball

  • @Juice151515 tie goes to the runner...

  • @TheWho0180 you are wrong

  • @Juice151515 i just did it cuz u said dont haha

  • @TheWho0180 There's no such thing as a tie in baseball.

  • He was out! Go SDSU!

  • Look at the 1st base ump!LOL!The runner gets knocked out and hes laying on the ground passed out and the 1st base ump is sitting there making the call whether he was safe or not like he doesnt even care about the runner.

  • @zbron99 thats baseball

  • @zbron99 Its not the umps responsibility to care for the player.

  • he was out

  • Out . . . Nuff Said .

  • He's safe because the 1st basemen ran into him, thats the only reason, if he just stepped on the bag, out, but he ran into him and made him fall down. THATS why he is safe,, answer to all your problems

  • Obstruction on the fielder that didn't have the ball. Batter safe. Good call,

  • @dwolfg what are you talking about lol? he had the ball...

  • @dummybummyful There were two fielders at first base. Thee fielder without the ball obstructed the batter/runner.

  • @dwolfg absolutely not true. he wasn't even close to obstructing the runner. the runner had a clear right to the bag...in what way did he obstruct him? he literally stood further away from the runner than a first baseman does.

  • @dummybummyful There doesn't have to be contact for there to be obstruction. Watch from :26-:28 The fielder without the ball was right there at the bag while not fielding the ball.

  • Pause at :28 he's out

  • out

  • lol. pause it at 0:28 and go frame-by-frame. the runner steps on the first-base mans foot! bad call.. =P

  • he was out but the obstruction saved him

  • why would he be safe. the first baseman hit the base before the collision. the batter is just a fucking idiot and is a pussy

  • @SonnyLeonM He's a idiot and is a pussy. what ill say first is, you should have said idiot and a pussy. Also i would love to know the reason you think this because honestly you sound like a dumb ass lol.

  • @KSINOBLE7 omg You're so dumb. lol.

  • @ComicallySanePolitic How so? lol

  • @KSINOBLE7 You suck at writing. lol

  • @ComicallySanePolitic lmao. yeah i know :)

  • wouldnt he be safe because of 1st basemen interference?? i think...

  • BYU is a bunch of pussies anyway

  • He was out take a closer look.

  • the first baseman is a dumbass. thats why you lob it to the pitcher when your that far away. so stuff like this doesnt happen

  • tpainanator is right

  • He was out because he tagged the base with his foot when the batter's foot was over the top of the bag.

  • runner is safe.....accually he is sleeping

  • i would have got up and punched u in the face

  • The runner is clearly outat 28seconds you can clearly see the 1st baseman tag the base before the runner foot was down

  • Take another look and freeze the frame at .27 and manually scroll through .28. the runner is safe.

  • The runner was clearly out. His foot came down on top of the first basemen right foot. The runner probably twisted his ankle as well as getting knocked out.

  • If you get knocked out on your way to first...... get a new pastime.

  • He looked out to me

  • got knocked the F*$k out!@!!!

  • he was out

  • It's a tie. Nvm he's safe.

  • @creativeskateboards6 There Is no such rule in baseball that "a tie goes to the runner". It is a myth that should not be perpetuated. There is no such thing as a tie. It is impossible to determine a tie.

  • It's a tie.

  • @creativeskateboards6 it can never be a tie hes out

  • pause at 0:28

    the runner is out

  • that was a nice throw to the catcher though

  • owwwwwww

  • should have been called out you cant stop a full dead out run in one step i would do the same thing to me looked like the base runner came out the baseline to get to him

  • should have been called out

  • pussy

  • First baseman should NEVER cross the basepath, that is just not allowed, if anything slide into the base.

  • @kiknchickn dude u cant slide to first

  • @xcrazyboyx1000 yes you can actually

  • @Arcink since when? lol

  • @Arcink do you mean like your goin to second and theyre gonna tag you so u run back and slide to first??LOL

  • @xcrazyboyx1000 I've seen people do it. But you can slide from home to first. But because you can run past the first. So you can go full speed a lot of people just don't slide on first because it isn't any faster. But you can slide on first.

  • @lenhop88 o

  • @xcrazyboyx1000 nope im talking hitting the ball running to first and.. well no one really slides there feet first more like a dive head first, so yes... Iv seen it happen many times

  • DDUMBASS FIRST BASEMAN SHOULDNT OF OVER RAN THE BAG!

  • he was out

  • OUT!!!!!!!

  • this looks crazy look at hes lifeless body hahaha.

  • @1kitto its the 1st basemans fault you dont fucking run across the base when getting someone out you simply step on the bag, push back and continue any other plays that are happening. Basic knoledge goes a long way lol

  • pause right at 0:28, he's out at first and knocked out.

  • @StanOfGB i think they called him safe due to interference, or just for his troubles. :)

  • out and knocked out

  • safe

  • And people say baseball isn't a rough game

  • He was DEFINITELY out haha paused it at 0:29

  • the batter was out -_-

  • eh, BYU, big deal. :p

  • he was out :}

  • play first cry late: baseball rule

  • Mental error by the first basemen. Nice throw home, he couldn't have been that hurt.

  • ahhhh see the fuckin byu players

  • he was out ha

  • HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH!!!!!

  • If you stop it right wen there both toching the base and rewind 2 seconds you'll see that the runner was out

  • out

  • Thats y the pitcher was there @ 1st base.

  • he was out

  • The guy going to home is a douche

  • @drumerboy223 why is he a douche, for trying to score, the rule for injuries in baseball 1. Finish the play 2. Worry about injuries

  • JUST FLIP IT TO THE PITCHER!

  • @LADodgerKid714 he got there b4 the pitcher

  • OUTTTT! Pause at 0:29 First baseman has the ball in the glove before the runner gets his foot on the bag.

  • @MLbFib0r and go frame by frame on 0:29

  • first baseman was quick and has a atrong shoulder and the runner ate dirt funny collison

  • out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • HE WAS SAFE

  • pause at 0:29 just got him

  • The defender was pretending to be hurt so he didn't look as much like a jerk.

  • @ninjajesus81 pretends to be hurt? really? have you ever hit a runner going full speed well going to touch a bag? I have, I got knocked out, as well as the runner, he left with a torn ACL because of the way he landed, don't talk about faking when a collision like that happens, it's not fake, it's called being heads up and trying to make a play, not "faking so you don't look like a jerk"

  • @kace842 I'm sure yours hurt a lot more than this one. If you got hit to where you got knocked out, that means your head had to be hit. This guy got hit in the leg. How would getting hit in the leg knock you out?

  • @ninjajesus81 well, it could've been from the force of his head hitting the ground to be honest.

  • @kace842 I'd give him the benefit of the doubt had he not popped up and threw the ball.

  • @ninjajesus81 dude, you go get run over by a runner running down the line and both of you go flipping, then try to pop up and throw. It's called adrenaline, and being heads up, it is possible to be hurt and still make plays.

  • he's out. if you pause at 0:29 you can see the base runners heel is about 1inch away from being safe

  • safe? he wass hellla out aha

  • @fishyfingers702 its mean since just got touched in the face but yes

  • if there is a tie it goes to the defense....so runner woudl be out...

  • Pause at 1:18. u can see (kinda) tht it was out

  • Same thing almost happened to me, but i dove to get the out, yes bad idea, and i got a cleat to the face

  • I don't think he was out and close call goes to runner

  • @Zcube97 close calls usually dont go to the runner there is no rule that in a result of a tie it goes to a runner in most cases a ump will call him out to make the game go along

  • @Zcube97 close calls only go the way that they should, close cal when the ball beats the runner, runner is out. close call where the runner beats a throw, tag or force? runner is safe. Tie? wellyou show me a rulebook that says tie goes to a runner, if you want to remain on the bases, you had better beat a throw.

  • out! umpires are as stuupid as fuck these days

  • Out.. 0: 29 : The runner almost stepped on the first baseman's foot.

  • WTFF

  • I got jacked like this because my pitcher didn't cover...

  • clearly an out but the close call goes to the runner :)

  • damn same thing happen to me at first

  • he was out pause it at 1:18 you can see

  • wow just toss it to the pitcher u dipshit

  • hes out

  • ick! thats sick watching him get knocked out like that

  • get out of the baseline you frekin retard! i would be so pissed...

  • @TheSlipknotsicness Dude it waslike a ragdoll lol he didnt even move when he fell HAHA looks like he really did die

  • he was out at first base... by one ass´s hair but yes, he was out... the first base player is freak!!!

  • he was out by a hair but u cant blame the ump

  • no he didnt die. he just got knocked out and now hes fine. it tells you hes alright on the video.

  • Wasnt even a tie, should've flipped it to the picher

  • Runner always get the call, safe read college rulebook

  • I hope you don't umpire. Sammyfield68 has it right....he was out. And out cold....glad he's alright, that's a collision!

  • My dad umpires for UGA...i think i know what im tlkin about. The runner always gets the call. If you don't believe me then go look up the college rulebook for baseball.

  • Runner must beat the ball.

  • you can't umpire for one specific school you DA. if he "umpires for georgia" then hes an SEC umpire you idiot. jeez people are retarded nowadays, but he was right when he said the runner gets the call, but after further review he was out by a hair, can't blame the ump though, real speed, i'd call him safe no doubt

  • @bryson78910 your right when its a tie. but the fielder beat him. it was a really tought call tho when i first seen it i thought he was safe to

  • he was out

  • stop it at 0:29 . The fielder beat the runner. out

  • he ran straight into his shoulder and it looks like the first base man got him out to... oh well counts as a man on lol

  • lol he was out a 1:18

  • that runner has the advantage of best site, he should have destroyed the fielder, thats how that situation works...as long as he isn't going out of his way, if that dude is 'on the tracks' run his ass over.

  • what a fucking idiot, he wont be playing in the bigs.

  • ok tough guy. you run full speed in to someone head-first and see how you do. you can tell by the way the 2nd baseman is thrown that he hit him hard

  • XD that's the same thing i said.

  • @stevostevie

    hahahahahaha

  • @stevostevie ahhhh, what a great movie that was

  • after collison da guys hat spun off nd dat other guy spun nd flew

  • he was out by like 6 inches but after taking a shot like that he deserves to be safe

  • I go to byu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Safety bags are gay.suck it up ive been in collisions that are mutch whorse the guy i hit broke neck and collar bone

  • shutup no one cares how "tough" you are, anyway everyone knows your probably lying anyway...

  • nobody wants to hear u brag about a worse collision u were in

  • That is one of the reasons they should consider having a safety bag at first. The two players hit each other because they are racing toward the same base. With that safety base the players are trying to get to another base without the risk.

  • this is softball! it's baseball!!! They don't care about injury! CMON' MIZZAN UP! baseball isn't about safety. it's about risk!

  • Um maybe you want to type the right thing before you argue. You put that it is softball.

  • So what you are saying is that if you have a broken leg they don't care and you are suppose to play just as well? They don't care, really? So is that why they have a disabled list in MLB??? Really????

  • Safety bases in my opinion are pretty much pointless and take away from the playing aspect of the game. On a bunt down the first base line or any ball hit that doesn't have the immediate possibility of being an extra base hit, the runner will no doubt be required to run on the foul side of the baseline, giving the catcher the advantage of not having to sidestep to avoid hitting the runner in the back with his throw. When on a play like this, they could have collided anyway. Now IMO Man the F up.

  • Fuck byu.

    I even live in utah

and weree i live most people are cougar fans

fuck cougars and fuck byu and fuck the mormony pieces of shit here.

    GO utes.

  • he is out!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • u guys are dumb you can run though1st base if u round it and u get taged ur out

  • Actually the first baseman didn't do anything wrong. I played 1st for 20 years and this happened to me once, except I was the hitter. In this instance both players were competing for the base. In my instance I should have pulled up but the ref's said it was completely with my right since I maintained my running line and the 1st baseman I hit was in the right because he was making an active play and had the ball.

  • You played 1st for 20 years and you call him the "ref"?

  • ahahahaha

  • @LANewell2 interesting. call me crazy but i've always heard that the correct term was an umpire. but then again you played for 20 years so you have to be right.....

  • What a stupid first baseman he could've caused more serious injuries to the other player and not himself, the only thing he had to do it's eitehr handle the baseball to the pitcher or just tag the first base without crossing it and at the same time avoiding the collision with runner but that was a inmaturity play and hope that coaches teach him how to do that play the next time. That 's what coaches and trainers are for,

  • runner was save, cuz ump said so!

  • Firstbaseman is a bushleaguer! MORON!

  • that is a piss poor call on the first basemans part... that is so unsafe.

  • close call at first i saw it a couple of times he was out at first but safe at home for sure

  • out @ 1st. stood on the 1st basemans foot not the bag!

  • yea if he woulda hit the front of the bag like he was suppose to, he woulda been safe

  • not trying to argue but dude was out if you hit play and pause really quick on the slowmo... just sayin

  • i paused the video, the runner was out at first, safe at home

  • He was safe! AND he gets to be a god, with a little "g" when he dies!

  • what a fuck head ... dude u learn that shit in little leauge give the ball to the pitcher ....... an u re learn that shit in high school ball damn

  • What an idiot...you give that shit up man. You learn that in little league for that reason.

  • Dang he's gonna be fillin that in the morning.
